Garlic Press with Scraper

Over engineering that make sense.

Why waste time looking at the other ones! Spend the extra money and get this masterpiece of German engineering. The one it replaces from another manufacturer has given us good service, but the plastic inserts have finally failed. In any case you know it makes sense as you get what you pay for, don't you? We use ours a minimum of three to four times a week as we enjoy a lot of home cooking. You don't even need to strip the skin of the garlic and it works well with ginger as well. We are expecting many years service from this.

Built like a cross between a Swiss timepiece and a German tank this truly is the Volvo of garlic presses. Works well, the bar that cleans off the garlic isn't perfect but I suspect I'll still be using this in 20 years

Industrial feeling garlic press. Easily crushes large and small cloves. The wee bar helps scrape the garlic off the press into the pan. Although no all of it so there is still a bit of scraping with a knife. Solid, well built, would buy again but I probably won’t have to.

A bit heavy but amazing quality. German craftsmanship.

In contrast to previously used cheaper models, this is well designed, easy to use, no need to peel garlic and easy to clean - what more is there? - Worth every penny!.

Previous Rosle still going strong but could not resist this. It’s beautifully made and solid as a rock. The action is delightful and pointlessly complicated. Put some garlic peeled or whole and garlic does indeed get crushed but ends up all over the mechanism and there is significant wastage. The scraper seems to try to solve a problem that did not really exist and not terribly well. It’s a right old faff to clean as a result of so many moving parts. Designed by someone talented who does not cook, much less do the washing up. It’s an interesting collectors piece but that’s it.

I’ve used this product and found it to be the best for extracting the flavour from garlic. Now I have my own.

This is my favorite garlic press ever. This purchase was actually a gift for some friends because I like mine so much. My original Rosle press was a gift to me (I picked it out) 8 years ago. Mine is still running strong and looks like it did on day one. Cleans easily, presses fast and well, and the automatic wiper makes a multiple clove job a cinch. Good leverage with the size of the handles and the design of the contoured "cam" action. No more tooth picks trying to clean out clogged press holes, and it hasn't broken in my hands like others have. Well worth it.
