I bought this set because the price was good. But once we filled them with sand it was clear two major things. 1, the base plates filled completely with sand are not even heavy enough to keep the dang thing from falling over by the tension of the rope LOL thats ridiculous, 2 the clips are cheap plastic and they will fail soon.Product is cheap, not good. Easy to assemble and will temporarily do the job for me but I don't expect them to last more than 90 days. We can be careful with the clips, but the stand falling over on its own under its own rope tension is laughable.

I should have read the reviews first, but I was in a hurry and needed stanchions for a business event. Much to my dismay, the first issue is that they arrived with broken parts. But that’s not even the worst part. These are VERY cheaply made. It doesn’t matter what you put in the base, as soon as you try to attach the belts, they just fall over. I returned them. Don’t waste your time or money on these. Pay a little more for something that is actually functional.

will not stand up once you connect them, even put sand in the bases still would not work. need to have the retractable belts lock out once they are extended.
