HammerHead Shower Head Filter Replacement Cartridge with KDF-55

Our water is on a chloramine treatment (found out a while after moving here that unlike all the areas around here that are on chlorine, our small region is treated differently). I'd been confused by how the "chlorine" odor varied a lot over the course of weeks and I never understood why it was so much stronger sometimes. This solved that problem in the shower. Lasts longer than the 3 months (and I flipped it, so we got over 6 months out of ours before I replced it with the reorder). It helps with the skin too. I'm really sensitive, and happy with this.

Replacing the cartridge was easy. After six months the amount of impurities in our city water that was filtered out was astonishing. The filtered water feels very soft and we have noticed our skin is smoother and our hair is getting thicker. I plan to continue with this filtration system because we’re pleased with the results.

I have used several shower filters for the iron in my well water and they only lasted less than a month at best until I used this filter. It’s remarkably the best I have used and has lasted over 3 months so far!! I will absolutely continue purchasing this filter! It’s costs a bit more but it is totally worth it. Don’t hesitate to buy it, you’ll be happy you did.

This is an excellent shower head. The filtered water is so nice for your skin. There is no itching or dryness after showering. My hair is not frizzy and seems to style easily and hold shape for 3-4 days. I still use same amount of shampoo but I use a smaller amount of conditioner. I did use a plumber however I think I could have installed it my self. I definitely can change filter myself. The shower head is very attractive,, does not leak, and gives a constant strong spray.

We have very high iron levels in our well-water. Despite our whole house filtration system, the tub was staining and our hair felt to dry. These filters solved the problem and no more iron residue! Great product!

Excellent product

Good product, and knowing it’s going to fit properly is great. However, WAY too expensive!!!!! Wish they would make it more affordable, especially since they need changed every few months
