Vendetta Precision Garden Auger Power Drill Adapter - Stainless Steel

Got this to use with a "smaller" 6" wide by 2' long pole hole auger so I can use with my larger corded electric drill.It fits the auger just fine & stays in the chuck just fine. You will need an 1/2" capacity chuck to use this.So far all is good & no complaints.

A few years back, I purchased an auger powerhead that is too heavy for me. With this adapter and using my 18 volt cordless drill, I can get planting done without needing to use a shovel all of the time. Although this bit fits most of my current needs, I do recommend a drill with more power for soil rich in clay, sand and rocks.

Well made product with great steel. It was slightly too big for my Eskimo hand auger. I put the bit into my electric drill and ran it on a file until it fits. Still snug, and works great.

Bought the adapter to fit between garden auger and 1/2" drill chuck. Just what the doctor ordered.

Works great in the ground auger I bought. Fits nice and tight.

Dont get me wrong great product. Very well made only thing if the tab where you connect to the drill would be longer that be a 5 star product. Thats the only issue. Give it a try.

It is solidly built but still u have to give it time to cool to avoid bending of the auger and also the drill. under 105 deg sun my drill stopped many times but the adapter looked good as it came the first day.

I applied this adapter to a 8" earth auger and used the Milwaukee M18 Super Hawg Right Angle Drill for the applications. My substrate was fallow pasture (which used to be farm field years ago). Overall the ground was relatively rock free. I was able to drill less than 200 holes prior to the adapter miserably failing by twisting the stem from the base. This was a fatigue failure and a direct result of the steel being much lower strength than it should have been. It appeared the steel was not heat treated well if at all.Buy a better quality adapter if you want to use it for more than a "couple applications". I replaced the broken adapter with a modified Milwaukee ship auger; so far the hardened ship auger has worked much better...
