Beautiful book with a myriad of designs and fascinating text

I have a kit from Krista that I loved doing (Scandinavian stars!) and I was excited to see she had a book! Lovely patterns that are easy to follow and simply gorgeous, I know I'd buy more books by her if given the chance, just like how I keep eyeing more kits from her! The only thing that would make this even better, is if it was a spiral bound!

Krista West wrote a wonderful book! The pictures are very informative, not to mention beautiful. Full of patterns that will be very fun to stitch, and clear instructions about different finishing options.

It’s a great book, am so pleased to have it. When I get my free time, this book will be handy to start a project.

I enjoyed reading this book. I have a lot of hankerchief with lace and embroidery, aprons from the 30's-40's that my Great-Grandmother and Grandmother made, etc. This book gave me quite a few ideas on how to incorporate these into my sewing to honor these wonderful ladies that were a part of my life.

This book has it all. Basic directions from start to finish; advice on equipment, fabric, threads, and design; cultural and historical notes, and page after page of glorious projects, patterns and photos. If you love cross stitching and folk arts you will love this book! I can't wait to pick up my needle and get started.
