Great water refresher for cats and dog. We use it outside and it is not growing algae and we remember to clean and refresh often. Had an issue with dropping plug in water and it wouldn’t work. Swapped out the plug with another one and it started up. This was a user issue not water dispenser.

Received today and I'm really happy I got it! It shares the same filters as my other stainless steel fountain and is very quiet compared to the old plastic + metal fountain. A friend of mine has this and after petsitting for him a few times, I said I would get one for how easy it is to clean. The only thing I'm concerned with is if the spout will be hard to clean, but it seems that the included brush will do the trick.Assembly was easy, it's just a few parts: the filter, the top and bottom, and the handy plastic part (please make metal in the future!) that keeps the filter and cords in place.Seems to carry more water than my old fountain, which is great for two very thirsty kitty girls.Design wise, the oblong shape probably helps with keeping it quiet and I don't mind it.

So, i have three cats and this water fountain would last almost a week before I needed to refill it. Over the couse of maybe six months, the little motor inside started to get gunky. There was some black build-up in it, and that was my fault. They sell new/ replacement motors. I feel getting that motor cleaned between uses, is pretty hard. I don't know how to clean it. All in all, this is a great water source for small animals. The filters last about one or two weeks, before needing to be changed out.

This is a good cat fountain. It is pretty easy to clean, everything comes apart and I have been putting the pieces in the dishwasher. This product is getting 4 out of 5 stars because of the motor and filters. The motor died on me not even a year into owning this product. My roommate and I both got a different pet libro cat fountain at the same time. Hers is still going strong while mine already needed replacement parts. The filters work well but need to be replaces every couple weeks because they do get pretty gross. Is is just an additional cost to keep in mind when buying this product.

High quality. Stainless steel easy to clean. Nice and quiet for running water and has a large capacity so doesn’t need to be refilled daily. Easy to put together and comes with multiple replacement filters

This fountain is easy to clean and works well. It does need to be disassembled and cleaned thoroughly as recommended, especially if you have hard water. Soaking the parts in a vinegar and water solution and using the enclosed brush helps. I was able to fix the pump after it stopped working by disassembling it and cleaning the parts, which was very simple to do. Videos on the Petlibro website are helpful and their customer support is very responsive.

The media could not be loaded. I was debating whether or not to get the water fountains with the cameras to hook up within the app, but I ended up getting the more simple ones since I do appreciate the fact that you can place this in the dishwasher to clean each week.Everything came packaged well and it was easy to set up! I ended up getting the bundle that included four filters, which you need to change each month. I did hand wash the fountain beforehand and in the instructions, it does say to soak the white filter in water for 5 minutes to prep it.Otherwise, it was easy to set up and place the filters on. I was surprised at how quiet it was too and it’ll take some time for my cat to get used to her new foundation, but she ended up drinking from it afterwards. It’s a bigger fountain than what she’s used to, but I don’t have to fill it up as often and I think she enjoys the running water!

Update: The pump was bad and the company sent me a replacement after sending them a video that it wasn’t working. They stand by their warranty!I bought this fountain in February 2025 and at first I absolutely loved it BUT now 4 months later the pump is no longer working. I also purchased the extra filter sets and now have no use for them. Very disappointed. Going to contact the company via their website.
