This Anker iPhone Lightning cable is the BEST ever! I've been using iPhones for about 15 years. Over the years, I've used different makes of charging cords. In the last 10 years, Anker has become my go-to electronic company for it's quality products. However, as good as Anker is, it always fell short on it's charging cables, just like everyone else. Cracked and falling apart were common adjectives with their cords, as well as other brands. Is it really hard to make a cable that holds up to the real world of cellular phones?No longer! Anker has come up with a very nice charging cable with a heavy duty nylon casing. But, its not heavy at all! I can tell by the few weeks I've had it that it will outlast the wimpy cables of the past. In its write up it says: "Improved construction techniques and materials make an iPhone charger cable that lasts 5X longer than the norm." I believe it!Get this Anker charging cable, it will keep your phone from having electric malnutrition caused by those wimpy, thin-skinned charging cables of the past!

Anker brand cords are awesome. They are very durable, very good connection, you can fold and wrap up cords and they never crack or break. I’ve had many cords and this brand is always the best. The durability of these cord is unlike others. My employer also provided this brand and I have used those cords for over 3 years and wrap them up, have smashed them under boxes while using the cord etc, and the braiding on the cord protects the wires and the cord is like a tank. I use a hair tie to wrap the cords up and put into a zip lock back and there is no cracking where i crease the cords.

I bought this charger almost 4 years ago in 2020. Since then the charging was great, quality was great, flexibility was great. Hence it’s been some years, my charger has finally showing some signs that i need to order a new one. I do recommend! It will last you! As long as you take care of your belongings (:

Great quality cable

I bought this cable with the hopes of not having to buy yet another cable for a year or two. So far it's been a year and it's still going strong. The double braided outer "shell" actually does make it very durable. I live in a university dorm at the time and sometimes my room mates manage to trip over the cable (although it's not in the way, I don't know how they manage to do that) and even then the cable doesn't suffer any damage. There's however a small issue, and that is. The plastic guard near the lightning port has ripped a few months ago. The cable still works, it simply doesn't look as pretty as it did before. To add (this part has nothing to do with the cable, but rather with how I use it), the lightning connectors 4th pin has a burn mark. It has corroded quite a lot because I leave the charger plugged in all the time and it's fastening the corrosion.The only real concern I have is that, I find the cable expensive for what it does. It's simply a cable, a high quality one at that; but I still don't think that it makes up for the price of the cable.

I have used Anker as alternatives to Apple cables for many years. They have caused less issues with my iPhones compared to other cables. I’ve noticed with other cables my phone would get hot when charging and eventually the battery life of my device would feminist. With Anker I do not have this concern. I’ve hardly ever noticed an issue of my device getting hot while charging with anker cables. I recommend anker to all my families members when they ask for my opinion.
