Too sweet for me
When I saw allulose I was very excited to see it because it's one of the alternative sweeteners that I like. It's generally not too sweet and doesn't have an unpleasant aftertaste. But it can be expensive so you don't see it as much.Unfortunately, I was blinded by the allulose and didn't see that this Monkshushu sweetener also had stevia in it. Which is my least favorite of all the alternative sweeteners. I don't know what it is but it's strong, bitter and almost salty, and makes everything it touches way too sweet. This syrup was no exception.I don't use a lot of sweetener to begin with so trying to moderate a liquid sweetener with stevia in it is near to impossible. And I had to use so very little of it, I couldn't even taste the flavoring. I'm sure its a good product because it seems like (judging from other products I buy) most people like things super sweet, especially people who buy low or zero calorie type stuff. I'm just throwing this out there for the minority who don't. And who don't care for stevia in any form.So the removal of one star is for the labeling. I don't think you should call it allulose syrup unless the only sweetener you are using is allulose. I shouldn't need to read descriptions and fine print to find out it isn't the case if that's literally the name of the product.

Pleasant Surprise
A delightful discovery. It has a rich caramel flavor without the overwhelming sweetness of traditional syrups, making it perfect for my low-carb diet. It blends well in both hot and cold beverages and adds a wonderful depth to my baking recipes. The consistency is just right. Of cousrse, I love that it’s made with allulose, which doesn’t spike my blood sugar. Definately a healthier alternative without sacrificing taste. Five stars! Just add some to your latte! Amazing!

Very disappointed
Unfortunately, I guess we cannot exchange any kind of food product. So I’m out that cost. Does not even taste like caramel. I’ve use Stevia monk fruit and audios. This product is not sweet. Bought one caramel one plain just want something sweet to put in my coffee. it’s not this one.

Good and Sweet, But Slightly Bitter Aftertaste
Overall, I'm happy with this sweetener. I've been using it in my blender to make iced coffees. (I prefer my hot coffee creamy but not sweet; I need my iced coffee both creamy and sweet.)It blends well, and infuses throughout the drink. It doesn't just sit on the bottom like some sweeteners. The flavor itself is nice-- it's a gentle caramel flavor. However, there is a slight bitter aftertaste to it. I don't notice it so much with my coffee, but when I just taste a little bit of the sweetener directly from my finger, there's definitely a tinge of bitter at the end. This might be nice to help flavor cookies. Going to try that too!Overall it's a good product.

Healthy sweet
If you got a sweet tooth but also concern about calories intake, this is for you. A small spoon full is perfectly for a whole cup of tea or coffee . I enjoyed the extra flavor of caramel too . Perfect for pancake, waffle , tea, coffee, pretty much anything you can think of .

weird aftertaste
I've found that I don't really like allulose and I'm giving up on trying to use it as an ingredient in my own cooking but I have had products that use allulose that I somehow enjoy so I was interested to give this a shot. Unfortunately, this just tastes weird to me and it has an aftertaste that I find unpleasant. It's very possible that someone else will love it, though. Taste is subjective. I don't think there's anything wrong with this product; it's just not for me.

Zero carb liquid sweetener with a hint of caramel
This MONKSHUSHU Caramel Allulose Syrup is a mix of allulose and monk fruit sweeteners. It is perfect for anyone who has adapted to those sugar substitutes and is looking for a liquid version. It does have a bit of an aftertaste and those who are not adapted, may not like this either. It has a mild caramel flavor, but not much. It's quite sweet which is fine for me ... I just use less. My primary use will be in plain Greek yogurt with berries, but I'm hoping it will work for a nut brittle granola I make which I break up and eat as a snack or with yogurt too. I have never found any sugar substitute that tastes good to me in baking so I don't plan to use this for that. It's always nice to find new zero carb sweeteners. This one comes from Korea which is interesting.

Fancy coffee at home!
Honestly this stuff has a great flavor. I put it in my coffee with half and half and it taste great. Gives a very tasty flavor of caramel. A little goes a long way and I still have loads left. I don't drink it every day but if I'm wanting to have a special coffee I love adding this syrup to it. If you are looking to make starbucks like coffees at home this is a great ingredient to get you going!
