This bag is amazing! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. First, it keeps its form even with nothing in it. Second, my Hydro Flask water bottle fits easily on either end. And I don't have to fight putting it in because of something in the middle of the bag interfering with its space. Third, in the middle, there is a spot/pocket for a laptop but this also works for loose papers. And the papers keep upright, they don't flop over. It's big enough that you could do a laptop and loose papers together. Fourth, there are plenty of individual pockets. Each outside is a mirror. There are two large zippered pockets on either side of the bag. Fifth, the bag has a canvas like feel. It's very sturdy. I live in the PNW and the bag can easily handle the rain walking to and from my car.I bought this for my teacher bag, but I could definitely see myself using it on a family vacation.I'll update on its durability etc, so if it's been a year and I haven't written anything - the bag is going strong and I still love it!

Lots of pockets on this cool tote make it easy to stay organized on-the-go. Great for Teachers, Students & Medical personnel.BUT its larger in-person than it appears in the pix. Wanted to use this as an everyday carryall bag for work, but its bigger than what I have room to store there so I use it as a car-organizer bag in the back of my SUV.If u use it packed with books, a jug of coffee/iced tea & lunchbox for work, its heavy so I use a small portable folding trolley to support the bag that makes it easily transportable so I dont kill my shoulders w the weight and lugging it in/out of car & bldgs & up/down steps.The value for the price was excellent & thats why I bought it. Durable fabric & sturdy handles. Lots of uses & it could double as a gym duffel, yoga workout bag & even as a handy tool bag.

I scoured the internet for the perfect bag and this is it! I needed a bag to carry back & forth from work with my laptop, keyboard, mouse, power cord, lunch & snacks, wallet, 2 water bottles, phone, couple pens, 3 notebooks, lipbalm, hand lotion, medication, eye glasses, etc. It ALL fits in here with room to spare for more stuff. I dont even need to take my purse to work with this bag! It has a ton of exterior and interior pockets for amazing organization. The padded pocket for laptop will fit 14" laptop max but you can use the center pouch for bigger laptops up to 17" (my keyboard is 17"wide and it fits) You could prob fit wider but once you put a water bottle in each exterior pouch on the ends of the bag; it encroaches on the overall room of the inside of the bag and you'd have to put laptop or keyboard in diagonally. I've been stuffing it for work for 9 months now; not one tear or rip or sign of wear. The handles are very well made; just wish it came with a shoulder strap. This bag is nuts! They really should have called "THE" bag.

Below I report a problem with the piping in the handle that you should read. The company on its own offered to replace the item, and after looking at the alternatives, I decided this was still my better option. It is very elegant and *very* durable (even when I dragged it on the road by mistake, it did not show it), a delight for just throwing stuff in, and very spacious.To summarize, the main problems are (a) the zipper is not secure, has big gaps that make theft from inside the bag real easy and (b) the pockets are too loose and things fall out. Hope they fix these!I also got the large version, which saved me on my last transatlantic trip, as it packed a huge amount of stuff.This is what I said originally, below. HOWEVER,1/ the straps have piping, but they forgot to sew the strap where the piping ends, and it is popping out. Worst still, there is no way to push it back in. The straps look good, but without the piping they will be limp and shapeless. Plus right now it looks awful, as I am still trying to see if there is a way to pull it back in, so they are exposed2/the zipper at the top does not close the bag!!! It reaches to a few inches from the edge of the bag, meaning anyone can dip their hand in easily and grab any item or that things drop out if it tumbles, even if you have zipped it up. Who came up with such an idea???? PLEASE FIX!!!!3/ the pockets as I said are also too loose, and things fall out with every tumble. It would increase the price to have magnetic closures or something, but I can't believe it would be that much. At least a few pockets should, to protect the items most likely to fall out.Otherwise, all below stands.So good I am keeping both sizes!The quality of the material looks really sharp, with a delicate sheen and interesting color--not cheap at all.It is not completely structured, as in rigid, but it holds up fairly well so that you can easily see what is inside. Such a change from my previous one!Perhaps too many pockets on the outside for my taste, but perfect on the interior with no divide, just pockets on either side, and plenty of room in the middle so that you are not rummaging through compartments to find your stuff.The pockets are also not very tight, which I think I will appreciate more but it does have the danger of things falling out if it overturns.That said, I can't find anything better for my needs. Keeping the small one for everyday, and the big one for travel. I often need to put my good leather bag in another bag so that it does not get scratched, the big one offers perfect space for that, with added room on either side.Very happy, let's hope the quality keeps!
