I just retired my 2017 MacBook I bought in 2019.I barely took it out the house, so I figured get something more stationary and I didn’t want another iMac. So I watched YouTube reviews and got the Mac mini. It’s like nothing changed, other than the fact it’s new, current and it’s so small and portable. I use this one for my everyday use and graphics.What can I say it’s a Mac.. but I did the 4 payments thru Klarna and it’s mine. I will be buying another for my recording studio. The Klarna payment option make it so easy to get and it arrived in 2-3 days.It’s a base M2 8GB ram/256GB HD which is fine.I’ll probably go 16GB on the studio just to be covered.I’m happy!

Upgrading from my late 2014 Mac Mini, this thing is a speed demon! Just make sure you check (unlike me) that the new hard drive is big enough to take whatever you need to move across through Apple’s Migration Assistant. Too late, I realized my old Mac Mini had a 1TB HDD. Thus, to get the new machine up and running, I needed to move a bunch of stuff to the Cloud.

I've been using Macs since 1986. I have a sales award from Apple for having sold so many early Mac SEs, Mac Pluses, Laserwriters, etc. I know them inside and out. I bought the M2 mini to replace my late 2012 mini, which would not run the latest AI versions of Lightroom and Photoshop. This mini obviously runs the software, though it doesn't seem any faster to me - and I'm not using any subjective testing methods, just the seat of my pants. The biggest problem I have with this unit is that I have several different peripherals that I must unplug to make room for others. Mostly hard drives, but also USB devices, cameras and the like. Since ALL the ports are in the back, and all but one will have something plugged in when I need to plug something else in, I can't turn the unit around to see the back of it. And since it sits against the wall, I have to get a flashlight, lift the thing without pulling out all the other USB cables just to see the port I'm trying to access. If Apple could have put two or three USB ports on the front of this thing, I'd be running through the streets screaming for everyone to buy one. Why not Apple? Why not 2 or 3 USB-C ports right on the front?

My son absolutely fell in love with this, as he insist on being an Apple kid. He does a lot of gaming and it seems to keep up. He also does online schooling and it seems to keep up with that as well. Remarkable product.

It was turned on and set up in a matter of minutes, and my son was extremely impressed. Thank you for an awesome product. Of course it’s an apple.

This thing screams in comparison to my old 2017 iMac, even after I moved the iMac's OS to an SSD. Even better, it was $100 cheaper in their store here than their own store! Programs load in no time. Moving files, editing images, browsing with 30 tabs open.... and it never slows down. I'm outputting to a 27" 4k display and the picture is simply amazing.

I was concerned about the “M2 Pro Chip” description and spooked by some reviews. But I had a great experience. All packaging appeared correct / new / unopened. No damage. And it’s the full M2 Pro (correct ports - not just the chip). Decent price. Fast shipping.
