We are an electrical contractor with 50+ employees - we purchase and use these regularly. They wear out with everyday high use, but with the cost that still makes good sense. For a handyman homeowner this is ideal. Overall, made in China stuff but would welcome an American made higher-quality version. We would certainly pay extra for that.

Handy tool to have. It saves me a lot of time to deburr 1/2" conduit that I use in my garden to prop up tomatoes.

Did what it says it will do

Save your fingers and frustrations. I never need to use the sander or my deadly grinder to mend the threads on bolts I cut down to size. The reaming function works on trimming burrs from small pipe as well. Thorvald seems durable and well made. And the quick connection makes it easy to use. Update: Having used this for a while now, I have become disappointed in the tool’s performance. It is very difficult to use on smaller bolt sizes (<1/4”) and is much to deep to use on short bolts as well (<1”). Also, it needs to be tightly secured in a clamping chuck as it wobbles too much in a quick connect chuck.

Works good

Purchased this one and a less expensive one from another company. This one is working like a champ. The cheaper one broke on the first day. I will be buying more of these even though they are more expensive.

Takes a lil while to chamfer, but it gets it done.

I used this tool to deburr leaf spring u-bolts after swapping out a rear end. The u-bolts were brand new 1/2” fine thread grade 8. After cutting the u-bolts to length with a cutting blade on a 4-1/2” grinder I ran this tool around the ends using a cordless drill. It worked fine and I was able to get a nut started on each end without too much trouble. Looking at the blades in the tool I didn’t see any damage or dulling at all. I’ve no complaints.
