First time dog owner here. I had originally purchased a cheap hammock style backseat cover when I first got my dog. It served its purpose for about 5 months, but over time I realized that was not great and there are better options out there that are more convenient for me and my dog.I found this dog seat/container and I am so glad I did. It cost a bit more but it is very much worth the price imo. My dog, who is such a good girl, but can be reactive in the car, actually seems calmer and more secure in the car now. I also LOVE that I could have a passenger in the back along with my dog. This keeps dog hair and dirt from getting all over the car. I also love the stable flooring and the stable front and back sides. The sides are high enough to encourage my dog to stay within the container. All the pockets are fantastic and will ensure my dog and I are prepared for whatever journey is next.A couple things to note:-I have a separately bought door protector so I leave the side closest to the door open because my dog stays put. I flip the extra flap under the floor of the container. Just a step I skip. For a longer trip I would probably use that flap but most of our car trips are short ones.-I also have a separately bought safety/seatbelt cable that connects to the seat anchor because my dog likes to chew through nylon straps.-I have a Corolla Cross and this JUST fits in the back seat. There is a bit of flexibility in the way the 4 sides are constructed. But this is just something to mention because if you have a super compact car this might not fit without a few adjustments/concessions.

Perfect! We have Lexus GX and needed a way to keep the dog away from the baby while they share the backseat. Easy to install and fits as described. Keeps dog contained and is well made. Easy to spot clean.

My dog loves car trips but has terrible car anxiety. Constantly shakes, drools, and pants even on 4hour trips which we frequently take to visit family. After I found this, he felt secure and safe enough that his anxiety has decreased tremendously! He’s a black lab mix (55lbs) and fits perfectly in this with room to lay down. The breathable mesh is nice for air flow and visibility. It’s alright as far as sturdiness goes. The “hard” part that attaches to the driver seat easily bent immediately after installation but it still works, just doesn’t sit straight up. It was very easy to install with or without directions. It takes up two seats in the back which is perfect because it still allows room for my son’s car seat on the other side. The seatbelt that comes with it is useless as it does not actually connect into the socket, but at least my dog has his own “car seat” now.

Works well and keeps the dog and dog hair contained. It’s got a solid bottom so my 100 pound boy can lay down and nap in the car. Just be careful when latching them to the car headrests, because you can accidentally lift it too far up off of the seat and just make a swinging hammock and make the bottom buckle lol. But after I fixed my goofy mistake it’s held up great! It’s just a normal canvas fabric and cleans well, and can hold a good sized dog bed to soften the bottom and can withstand a big boy leaning on the sides.

It fit perfectly in my 2017 Subaru Outback AND my loves 2017 Tacoma. the extender gives Koa extra space to move around and it’s a solid bottom. Love the net that keeps him from coming upfront. Set up is super easy and being able to contain hair and protect my seats is awesome. Highly recommend. I also purchased the half size and was not very impressed with that one.(Sorry video is more teaching Koa how to get in the car by himself but you can see the car seat with cushion (it’s worth it to get the cushion, otherwise he does slide around a little)

The tubes are made from plastic and made it very easy for dog to get out of with the safety belt on...I have 38 lbs. Box puppy. The panels need metal tubes. At this price point i really was looking for something stronger...Its okay for a small dog i cant wouldnt use it for med/large dog....good design/materails used. Im very dissapointed in this product...This is not what they adivertised.

Bought to travel with a litter of puppies. Worked great! Sturdy, easy to clean, good size. I love how I can pull it out of the car and carry the puppies in it.

I fell for the hype. It looks nice. But quality is NOT. For the price i expected better. Its basically a thick posterboard for the "sides and floor" and plastic tubing for the rest. It does not fit easy like it stated, the belt for safety doesnt reach. And the floor part buckles where the seat is not under it. My poor dog thought he was forever falling. Save your money and look elsewhere.
