If the description indicates black, I'll recommend that Amazon correct the description. However, its nearly virtually impossible to get Amazon to change a description because they only allow the Brand owner to make the change... and changes are rarely made. We are not the brand owner.

Q: Does this crystal contain lead? Is it safe for everyday use?

Yes, for glass to be called crystal it will contain lead. Waterford has a “lead free” version called crystalline. I couldn’t tell you if it is safe for everyday use. That’s where your research and what you deem “safe” comes into play
