I brought a rice cooker from Korea. This has been working great to use appliances that use 220 v.

Moved to the USA from Europe- this is a game changer. Love it! , not loud or extremely hot.

I bought it in March and used it, and it broke down after 4 months. It turns on, but it doesn't work.

This converter has worked well to power my small appliances such as a radio and other devices that followed me back with the move to the US.

I have lived abroad and are a lot of types of 220 volt plug variations. You will need to separately purchase an adapter to match the units 220 plug type to your country. The 220 V outlets are labeled for 16 amps at 250 volts max. About 10 years ago, I purchased one of these type units before and it was over $150. So, the price has come way down. Good. First, in the back there is a switch for what input voltage you will use. That's important and I left it at 110 volts as mine came from the factory. Then I plugged the power cord into the unit and then into my wall outlet. Up front, I powered up the red toggle switch and the green power light indicator came on. Now, we're good to go. You also get a user's manual; so read it first.

Excellent power converter that was easy to use and performed as it should. Virtually silent and does not get hot. Great product and a great value!

This thing converts 110 mains voltage to 220 just like it says. I have not tested it going the other way, though. This thing is a bit on the large side and is heavy. For me, I consider those as positives because it seems very robust, but I would not want to travel with this thing. It is about the size of a toaster and it weighs easily ten or fifteen pounds.

Purchased to attach a Bang and Olufsen Beosound 2500 to. It is heavy and feels expensive. It works perfect and I am very pleased with this order.

The stated performance doesn't match. It's very weak and doesn't work as expected. The return price was higher than the original price.
