Much better than other tools in this price range.
This tool has a fairly heavy, powerful motor compared to oscillating tools I have owned in the past. It feels pretty well-built and the universal quick-release adapter is heavy duty, easy to use, and holds blades securely. After using this tool, I have gotten rid of the old one I had, which required a tool to change blades, didn't have as much power, and cost about the same as this one. I am very happy for the upgrade and recommend this tool.

Great tool to have for cutting holes in your sheetrock.
I prefer having wireless tools when it comes to cutting tools, but this device is strong and capable since it is plugged in to work. I got some new heads for it and they helped me to install the ports for hiding cables in the walls between my TV and cabinet. The ports I had were rectangular and this made it quite easy to do. I plan to use this on future projects. I already have one in mind. I want to put in a small cabinet where I have some unused space in my wall. This will help for this any more!

Solid, Quality …. Cool feature(s)
Bought this as a replacement for my old-reliable multi-tool … and this one performs like a champ. LOVE the no-wrench quick-change blade replacement feature (why oh why didn’t I get this years ago). Useful variable speed and accessories - so this is a great value and seems like it will last a long time. Bravo.

A Very Hefty Tool
Pros:- excellent quick change blade mechanism (it might be better than Milwaukee & Dremel)- an excellent value at just $35- good top speed of 21000 OPMCons:- too heavy- the minimal OPM is 15000 (making the variable speed range narrower than other similar tools)- slide switch (not as safe as a paddle switch)- not many accessories included and no case or bagMore thoughts:Normally I like my tools to have some heft -- i.e., some weight & solidity. Normally that gives a tool a good feel and signifies durability. (Cheap, low quality tools tend to be light.) But can a tool be too heavy? In this case, the NEWONE Oscillating Tool weighs 1625 grams (over 3.5 pounds). In contrast, my corded Dremel Oscillating Tool (amazon.com/gp/product/B0CZV35YGZ/) weighs only 1360 grams. The Dremel exudes quality and feels great in your hand. It's also proven to be robust and durable. So I can't see any advantage to the extra weight of the NEWONE. All it does is make the tool harder to handle and more tiring. It's just too heavy for no reason.Incidentally, I have found the Dremel blades to perform very well. The Dremel blades also fit my cordless Milwaukee Oscillating Tool, so I use them everywhere. But those blades will not fit this tool. (Fortunately, all the other blades I own will fit it.)Both the Dremel and Milwaukee have quick change blade mechanisms that work pretty well. But this NEWONE Oscillating Tool has a quick change mechanism that is even easier to use. I haven't had a blade pop out yet, so it seems to hold well, but it will have to prove itself over a longer period of time.I would probably rate the NEWONE Oscillating Tool 3 stars, but its very good value means it earns 4 stars. I'm comparing it against tools that cost 2 or 3 times as much, so I don't think it would be fair to rate it lower.[I've been pretty good at updating my reviews if a tool breaks or has some other issue down the road, so I anticipate that if this one gives me problems I will remember to come back and edit this review.]

Got a flathead screw driver? I’m fixing mine with a drop of weld.
The tool has this wonderful attachment. System for the blades. Unfortunately it’s based on a pin in the head and the piece of metal meant to open it is a fraction of a millimeter too small. The result is that flippping the lever does not release the blade. I ALMOST does, but not quite. You can help it also though with a flathead screw driver. You use it as a wedge to make the cam that opens the attachment system just a bit bigger.

well built multi-tool
The construction is durable and heavy duty, very solid tool, the drawback though is it's on the heavier side. The quick change lever works well.

Great Oscillating Tool Addition
This Oscillating Tool Kit is quite a solid addition to my tool collection. Has a 4 amp motor and 4° oscillation angle, & provides plenty of power. The six variable speed settings allow for precise control, making it suitable for different materials and projects. The kit comes with five useful multitool blades and a storage box, which is convenient. However, the blades wear out quickly, which can be frustrating. Despite this, the tool performs well overall and is a great value for its price.
