An awesome instrument.
I got this for my husband and he absolutely loves it. It is built well and can make different sounds when played differently. He is a beginner and it only took him a short amount of time to figure out how to use it. There are instructions included on how to use it and pictures to help. Great product would definitely buy again.

better than expected for the price
granted, this cost twice what a "snoopy" costs -- but unlike the "snoopy" I recently also purchased, this harp has RANGE -- that is, projectability, which the snoopy doesn't have (much, of). whenever/whatever you do with your mouth/cavity, is somewhat easily transformed/transported to the harp. I wish I knew for sure what basic key a jaw harp is tuned to, but my better jaw-harps -- this doesn't matter. it's like I can (to a limited degree) make the sound as concordant as possible to/with the guitarists i'm playing with.

Cool little instrument
Pretty cool to play around with. Just don't let it vibrate against your teeth

You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for, they were ok, but will pay a few extra dollars, and get a better quality instrument.

Jaw Harp
I purchased this item because of The Who's "Join Together". I wanted to play the intro. Haven't mastered it as yet; but not the harps fault. It is well made and I play it right; has a great sound.

Not a real jaw harp
Was not well made at all. Did not come close to working as it should. Returned for refund. Spend the money and order a real one from somewhere else.. You will not find a good one on Amazon.

it goes TWANG
I like these. They are fun to play with. I often try to see how many different sounds and rhythms I can make using one. I progressed from absolute-beginner (barely able to create a sound) to intermediate within a few short months. I continue to enjoy playing these and have been considering investing in a more expensive one, but I am reluctant to do so because I have already broken a few of them (the reed/tongue eventually snapped off due to over-use). I am hoping to find one which either has a replaceable reed/tongue or one which is of a more resilient metal.I've played an Ozark, Grover, Snoopy's Harp, Dan Moi, Jaw Harp by MUARO P.Potkin, Schwarz SH-12 and Jew's Harp by D.Glazyrin/Lighthouse. Don't waste your time with a Snoopy's Harp. The others are fine.
