Anime Studio Pro 9.5

This is a great, high-quality piece of software. It has an easy-to-use interface and allows you to export high-resolution video. The bone system lets you easily control, manipulate, and animate your content. Since I'm not a very good artist, what really makes me love this software is the character wizard and content library. The character wizard allows you to easily create and customize your own characters without having to draw a thing. The free content library has loads of props, backgrounds, characters, and more. If you'd rather draw your own content, there are lots of tools in the interface to help you do so. If you'd prefer to design you content on paper, you can scan it to the computer, easily trace it yourself in Anime Studio, or use Anime Studio's automatic image tracing.This software is great, and I would definitely recommend that you buy it.

Pretty good Product.

A very familiar software program for me (I'd been using Anime Studio Pro v.6 for the past few years) ...it is quite user friendly. I practically self taught, with assistance from some online tutorials.Far preferable, in my opinion, to Adobe's different Creative Suite programs: Flash, Illustrator, etc.

This program is absolute garbage. You CANNOT import Illustrator and/or vector files as it SAYS IT CAN, you CANNOT import LAYERS, and you CANNOT accurately draw ANYTHING. You are very limited to what you can and cannot do. Don't expect to be able to anime short films, simple Flash-like anime.....with Anime Studio Pro...YOU WONT BE ABLE TO. ...big let down. Absolutely hate it.

I really don't like this product AT ALLYou can't animate like AN ANIME.This is just garbage, and I couldn't even return it because I had already registered it.What a waste of my money.Don't buy this.Unless you want to make a simple animation that you can do easily in Photoshop...Then be my guest.

Save your money and wait for the price of 10 to drop some. This is a great anime software, and it's not bad prices at all. Why wouldn't I rate it a 5?

This is another SmithMicro product that doesn't have a working serial key. Seems to be a theme with them. I'm sure the product will eventually be decent, but the annoyance of having to prove you bought it is irritating after you spend actual money. I don't buy stuff online because I want to talk to people working in a call center. I'll update this post in a week or so if I can't get the code when I have time to call. It'll still be three stars, unless it's more annoying than I expect in which case I will drop the product rating (out of box experience is part of the product after all).No wonder some people turn to "other" sources for this stuff.

Picked this up for $30. It's showing it's age, but gets the job done. If you manage to get a copy at a fair price make sure to make a backup disk/image as SmithMicro does not have downloads for this on their site anymore... and support expires when not purchased from their site.
