Logitech Combo Touch iPad Air 13-inch (M2, M3 & M4) (2024, 2025 & 2026) Keyboard Case - Detachable Backlit Keyboard with Kickstand, Comfortable Typing, Multi-use Mode - Midnight Black

This is my first non-Apple smart iPad cover with keyboard. It has several differences of the Apple version which some are pros and some are cons. The iPad does sit inside the case itself which makes it more protective for the iPad especially for kid use. The back flap needs to be pulled out to sit up on a table which is flimsy and doesn’t work great. It does not stay in place well. The keyboard is detachable which is fantastic for the ability to use the iPad vertically and not deal with the keyboard. The keyboard can be removed and snapped back on to sit on the back and out of the way. The keyboard itself works great. This is very different than Apple Smart Case and worth the consideration for price point and these distinct differences. Longevity will be the only concern at this point.

BEST CASE AVAILABLE! This is my third and final multi-function iPad case! I have tried 2 other keyboard cases that were less expensive - trying to save money. So frustrated by the poor design, so I bit the bullet and got this Logitech case. OMG! I wish I had bought it sooner! The battery life is fantastic, the case is solidly constructed, the keyboard actually feels like a real keyboard, the track pad works so smoothly, and the stand hold my iPad at a variety of angles. The case detaches with a pull from the keyboard, and will hug itself back to the keyboard without having to line it up, get my glasses, or turn on the light. It just clicks in magnetically. Great value for the money, even though it’s pricey. I genuinely feel like I have a MacBook Pro with the track pad and keyboard functionality. I have dropped and knocked my iPad around, and my car likes to sit on it - it holds up great! High marks for protection.

Note that Amazon indicates that this product has a high return rate, which is very understandable. Don’t even bother getting it and bypass the return process. We’ve used Logitech keyboards for iPads for over 10 years. We have never had an issue with them until now. The keyboard regularly stops inputting information on the iPad. You will be typing along and look back at what you have written and there are misspelled words, since certain letters are missing. The trackpad will lock up the screen, again, regularly, you can no longer move the screen with your finger OR the trackpad in the active application.. The only thing you can do is move the trackpad to the bottom and click out of the current app. Sometimes, when you “close” the keyboard, it activates the Do Not Disturb - which, if you have multiple devices, puts them ALL in DND. I will be waiting for a call, and it won’t show on my phone, because THIS keyboard put my account in DND. Very poor quality materials and workmanship. At three months the rubber frame on the bottom that holds the iPad in place started separating from the back (stand) of the keyboard. For about a week, that was OK, but the separation kept getting bigger. THEN the left side started separating. I contacted customer service and requested a refund. They would not honor that, they had me jump through a number of hoops (and asked for the same information, proof of purchase, invoice (same thing), name and shipping address) at least three (3) different times. Finally received a new one. Still locks and misses inputting characters and the trackpad locks the screen. The ONLY time I use the trackpad is when I have to quit out of an application because this device had locked the screen. For $229 if would expect a much, much better product. Logitech should be ashamed of charging that for this very poorly made and functioning product.

Fits, great price, durable.

Seamless functionality with iPad Air 13” M3. Fit is perfect. Easy to set up and get working. The function keys on the top row offer very useful shortcut to keep fingers off the screen. In fact, the need to touch the screen may have been eliminated. Now my iPad is more like a laptop. The only drawback is the “kick stand” which appears to be lacking in maintaining a “solid stance”. Since it is less than 2 hours in use maybe it requires some break- in time. This item falls between very inexpensive and the expensive Apple version. I personally would buy this again. There is a dimmable backlight on this item which I believe Apple has not integrated in their Magic Keyboard.

So far, I love it. It instantly worked with my iPad. I was surprised I didn’t have to install an app or connect Bluetooth or anything. I changed a couple settings on the touchpad to meet my personal needs, but the keyboard has worked beautifully so far. I haven’t had issues with the stand in the back either.

Fits my iPad very well. Love the built in stand to stand it up at different angles. Love that you don’t need to set up Bluetooth or anything. Just connect the keyboard and it works. Also like that you can take the keyboard off to save space if you need. Would absolutely buy again.

This is the lowest quality item I have ever received from Logitech. I have been a customer for years, and used a plethora of their different peripherals and devices all decent in quality. This Ipad case is cheaply built. The keys fall off more often than any laptop keyboard I have ever used. The outer rubber of the case started peeling after a few weeks of light usage. To make the peeling worse, it is too tight around the Ipad so removing it from or putting it in the case just a few times rapidly worsens the peeling. The only good thing about this case is the fact that it functions, and has a large mousepad. Overall, this case is terrible. I wish I had purchased one more durable and high quality. I attempted to get a replacement, but because it is outside of the single year warranty, I am out of luck. This company is as cheap as its products.

This made a perfect keyboard for the Apple iPad. Pricing was competitive and quality brand did the trick. The design of the keyboard is actually much better than the original from Apple. It has a better protection for your iPad.

After a few months of using the Logitech combo the frame of the iPad case started peeling off I had to super glue it a couple of times to stay intact. Super gluing it did not help neither, it still kept peeling off and it scratches very easily, not worth the money. I wonder if I can send it back and get a new one but oh well it’s been months already. Not worth the money. But I’d rather get the grey logi tech combo it looks very sturdy and durable.

Keyboard is as advertised and even better if you can get it on sale! It is pretty much plug and play with the Apple iPad. I attached it to my iPad and it immediately turned on and notified me it needed the Logitech app installed so that it can update the firmware on the keyboard. The keyboard is powered by the iPad and is attached magnetically. Which means the keyboard is easy to remove when you dont need it.
