Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge Paperback – May 6, 2014

This book was probably the most helpful book I could have ever gat for aviation I know so much about what to do in a plane now because I'm leaning how to become a further pilot and now I this is helping me pursue my dream 1 step closer

I had to return this gift because my grandson already has it and read it. A sign that IMade a good choice in selecting it for a 16 year old aspiring pilot.

This is a huge book of knowledge! Almost above my head, but it is not for everyone! Only those that can take all this information to be a pilot! Not everyone can be a pilot, but this book is perfect and covers all the basses! As a UAS Part 107a Pilot, I am appreciative to glean all this knowledge so I can be a legitimate Drone (UAS) Pilot!!!

Something about two negative reviews didn't pass 'the smell test' and I decided to take a chance and order this book from amazon. I figured that with its easy return policy (including return shipping for faulty products) I risked no more than having to reseal the package and hand it back to the UPS guy. Well, the book turned out to be perfect.All illustrations are in color, printed on glossy white paper - a pleasure to hold and to read, even in a low light. And of course it is cheaper than any other seller. Thumbs up for amazon on this one.

Nice to have a hard copy, but there is free material on the FAA website.

A great primer for anyone who's thinking of going for a pilot's license or who just wants to know more about planes and how they're flown. I got the ebook and it's handy to be able to read it anywhere I happen to be on the Kindle app on my phone or tablet - but I knocked a star off because the drawings and diagrams are too small to see clearly in the electronic version and there seems to be no way to enlarge them. That's a real problem since some of them are essential to really understanding the concepts, so I had to order the print version of the book, too.

Unique for our country book, described exactly by the seller, delivered very fast, trackable all the time. Thanks to the seller for wonderful opportunity to gain the book I wanted :)

if you are an aspiring, wannabe, professional pilot. Or just aviation curious. This is an awesome reference book. The FAA puts this out every few years and is packed with information that is very useful.

Yes If you want to be a pilot you need to study from the best study material present. I THINK IT IS THE BEST.

It has lots of images to explain things quicker and better and it covers lots of different fields, from aerodinamics to how to use flight instrumentation.

I liked the full-colour illustrations throughout the book. I understand some books are in monochrome ( avoid those ). Very detailed process to follow if you are attempting to pass your theory exams or just understand a bit more about light aircraft. Written for USA readers but the bulk of it is good for the UK students as well

El mejor libro de aviación que he comprado, te enseña todo lo básico que un piloto debe seber. Lo recomiendo para estudiantes. Es prácticamente todo el curso de piloto privado

Entrei em contato com a Amazon sobre os enormes problemas na diagramação deste livro. Me "prometeram" uma revisão no conteúdo e que estas providências seriam imediatas. Passou-se aproximadamente 1 (um) ano e nada de providências. Lamentável o descompromisso para com o leitor. Uma enganação.
