This is exactly what I needed for my webcam and YouTube video contents. I do technical reviews and training videos for social media which requires multiple cameras from different angles. I was looking for a stand for my camera so I can film from top down. This stand is exactly what I needed with bit of modification. Which is just an extension arm screwed on top to hold my camera.Base is solid metal and the tubes are Carbon Fibre and description states it can hold 15kg. All I will be using this stand for is holding my camera which is lightweight less than 500g or LED light panels if I don't need top down view for that particular video. I am very impressed with this versatile stand as it can be used in office, studio or at home. It can be used for camera, lights or microphone stand.Stand has quick extension tube system just like Manfrotto tripod I have with flip open to unlock and press down to lock it at any height between 16 to 28 inches. It has reversible 1/4 inch to 3/8 mounting screw to mount any universal camera or accessories. It also comes with a female adopter that can be mounted on 1/4 or 3/8 screw plate.Suitable for desktop flat surfaces only as it is not tall enough for floor stand as well as stability may be compromised on not flat surfaces.Overall a very decent quality stand for what it is made for. It is solid and does everything that you would expect from a monopod stand.

Really nice product, just make sure you have room. The base is about 7 inches wide and hefty, so this really isn't super portable, but a great unobtrusive way to mount LED lights to your desk with a fraction of the space of a light stand. I tested this at full length with a 60W L60-B by Westcott and it held just fine at full length. I then stress tested it with a very heavy Nanlite FS-300 300Watt LED...it held, albeit it was wobbly, but the stand kept it upright when I tried to nudge it for a controlled fall. Do note, it's not a good idea to put a heavy light like a 300 watter all metal on this...but I did it for SCIENCE LOL.Just be honest and not stress it out too much, but seems like it will take most portable LEDs, even COBs at full length. What's great is it includes a baby pin in addition to 3/8 and 1/4 threads, and the pins are removable...no more cheap stands where the baby pin is pre attached and becomes loose, but you can't tighten it because it's bolted...YAY...This is merely a quick pin replacement if something happens. But this is one of the better cheap stands available on Amazon and I was expecting typical schlock that would hold a USB tinker toy light at best before breaking...no this is legit.So this punches above it's weight. The only downside is the middle clamp is plastic, so be sure to baby it a bit and not go nuts. Bring on your Aputure 60xs n' Nanlite Forza 60s and Neewer MS150s.

Ich nutze ihn für meine OBSBOT Tiny 2 Kamera, und er erfüllt meine Erwartungen perfekt. Vorher hatte ich immer das Problem, dass die Kamera auf dem Monitor von schräg oben gefilmt hat, was suboptimal war. Mit diesem Stativ habe ich nun die Möglichkeit, die Kamera auf die optimale Höhe für eine frontale Aufnahme meines Gesichts und Oberkörpers einzustellen. Das sorgt für eine viel professionellere Bildqualität bei meinen Live-Streams und Videoaufnahmen.Die Verarbeitung des Stativs ist hervorragend. Es besteht aus robustem Kohlefaser-Material und die schwere Basis sorgt für eine exzellente Stabilität. Für die kleine OBSBOT Tiny 2 Kamera ist die Stabilität vielleicht sogar ein bisschen übertrieben, aber das gibt mir das beruhigende Gefühl, dass ich auch schwerere Geräte ohne Bedenken montieren könnte.Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Koolehaoda Einbeinstativständer. Er erfüllt genau das, was ich mir erhofft hatte, und bietet eine stabile, flexible und hochwertige Lösung für meine Kameraaufnahmen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Yes, it is a great table stand for cameras, lights, or microphones, but this assembly's star is the carbon fiber extension pole. It works with the round base stand provided and can be used as an extension pole for your tripod or other devices. I put it on a dolly to create some movement for product shots and the height adjustment came in very handy. I might not want to mount a heavy rig to the stand and extend it to the limits of the pole but overall this is a useful device and the extension pole will find its way onto other tripods and dollys I own.

Ist okay aber der Boden ist zum einen eher leicht - nichts im Vergleich mit der "Weighted Base" von Elgato. Außerdem sind 40cm minimale Höhe evtl etwas zu hoch - ich wollte zB ursprünglich einen Teleprompter auf Augenhöhe haben - dazu hätte ich aber nur 30cm gebraucht. Die 40cm waren zu hoch. Deshalb vorab gut abmessen. Was ich positiv finde ist der Einsatz von Kohlefaser. Sehr edel! 4 Sterne.

I really like that this monopod stand uses a metal flip lock rather than a collar for extension. It also has a set screw at the top to minimize rotation if a ball head is installed. There is a hex screw at the top that can be removed to change the default 3/8” mount to a 1/4” mount. A hex wrench and 5/8 stud are also included.There are a few ways you can use this monopod stand, but it was most practical for me as a light stand for a small LED fixture. I think it would also work nicely to mount a light and put it behind a laptop for video conference calls.I only have a few nitpicks with this monopod stand. The metal base had a scratch on the top and it could be slightly heavier. The carbon fiber while good looking, could use thicker tubes. Otherwise, if you don’t overload this stand, I think it is a good value considering the generous height extension and carbon fiber build.
