Pack of 2 Microwave Oven Lamps

For as long as I can remember (at least a few years), my Hinari Lifestyle MX120B TC microwave has been without a light as no-one in the household was brave enough to take the cover off to get to the bulb for fear of ... well, we didn`t know ... maybe we`d all turn into hamsters or start to grow pineapples from our ears ...Anyway, I was getting fed up with the mystery of the dark whilst zapping my lasagne (yum) and after a glass of wine (any excuse), I plucked up courage to sort it out and unplugged the microwave from the mains. Wow, I felt good in my victory ... (oops, sorry, a touch of premature celebration). So the electrically dead machine was carefully carried to the kitchen table for further examination and a quick search revelaed just 4 cross-head screws on the back held the cover in place so with my trusty screwdriver in hand, I undid them and removed the 3 sided cover which exposed all sorts of wires and connections inside.I mentioned my exact model because the position and mounting of the light bulb may be different on others and therefore can only report on the one that I`ve done.Without touching or moving anything, a visual scan of the inside found the bulb and integral holder (one piece design as shown in the pic) near the back and held in place by a single cross-head screw even though the old and bulbs have two holes which makes me think it`s probably a universal fitting across various manufacturers but don`t hold me to it (see previous disclaimer paragraph).The 2 electrical spade connectors were taken off and the bulb removed and after a quick Google search found a bewildering array of bulbs shapes with and without their respective holders, I caught sight of the golden name of Amazon with a link to a T170 which is the same type that`s on the old holder and clicked on it.The rest, as I`m sure you`ve guessed, is history and after a quick delivery, I received 2 bulbs (that`s a single pack) and as most manuals will tell you ... `reassembly is the reversal of the removal procedure` and on this ocassion, it is.****************************************Warning: I`ve since found out that you have to be careful when opening a microwave even if it`s unplugged as it has capacitors that hold a charge and if you happen to short it out, it can do you damage so for heaven sake, take care and if you`re not sure, it might be worth the small fee to call a sparky out and let him at least take the back off for you.

I have a Panasonic microwave. The spade connectors on the new bulb were at a different angle and slightly wider than my original bulb. Do not let this put you off purchasing these bulbs, everything else is identical. It is very easy to file the sides of the connectors so that they fit into your microwave wire connectors. It worked out cheaper to buy the two bulbs and now I have a spare.Delivery was very quick, next day!

Every body wanted the same price for one bulb -- this is the first time I have ever had a microwave light bulb blow -- bought this two pack so I have one in reserve -- very easy to fit -- no need to take it to a specific microwave dealer or agent -- recommended -- IanR

This lamp is the correct size and fit for a Panasonic NN-T543W microwave. The only minor point is one of the spade connectors was too large. Either replace the female spade connector on the microwave wiring or file down the male spade connector on the the lamp. I choose the latter solution.

I thought from the picture I am ordering a straight connectors but what I got was angle connectors. But it fit the panasonic microwave oven and worked ok. Instead wire pointing up, this bring the wire to the side because of the angle connector. I thought that does not matter or may be even better.

when I looked at the original photograph I should have gone to specsavers as I misread the photo have fitted lamp that was sent have no complaints good buy apologise for previous comments hope I have rectified this mistake hope this suffices sorry ok VWBrown

Be warned, this DOES NOT fit a Panasonic NN-T543W as the connections (male spade lugs) are the same size on this, whereas the original Panasonic bulb in the unit had different sized connections and one on this bulb is too big for the female connection in the units wiring.
