Wow, it worked with no adjustments or fiddling around with the leads, just power it and go, easy. Set my power supply about 4.25 volts DC clipped onto the leads and pressed the button. Got a nice strong spark. It does draw about an amp and a half at 4.25 volts so make sure you’re using a strong enough power source. The spark jumped about 3/4 to an inch, nice strong spark, that was singing nicely. Well worth the money rather than playing around building something, save that for when you want to play with circuits, not high voltage sparks.

It's a neat little kit. Great for making your own homemade stun gun.
