This could be a one word review..... WOW!
I have never, and I mean never, been able to sharpen a drill bit free hand. Never. Any drill bit that I sharpen by hand that ends up cutting better is an accident. I've looked at drill sharpeners for decades, (really, not exaggerating) but had no interest. My dad had one of those things that you are supposed to use with a bench grinder, but it stat in a drawer and never got used by him, or the guy he got it from. I looked at the consumer units, but I couldn't get past the $160 price, and a name that made me think of one of the UHF TV station ads from Ronko back in the 70s. (wait, there's more!) But with the problem I had with a repair for a client last week caused by dull drill bits, I decided that I needed to buy one. The time lost because I scrapped out making a part cost me more than this thing did. Sure, I can buy a new cobalt drill index for under $150, but then I end up with the same bunch of dull bits in the same sizes in short order. Acrylic and materials like PEEK are surprisingly abrasive and can dull a bit very quickly. This thing is worth every penny. It works, perfectly, and I can use it any time so my drill bits can always be sharp when I need them. Keeping in mind the old adage that "Those who design things to be foolproof fail to take into account the ingenuity of fools," this thing is as close to foolproof as you get. New glasses will help with reading the small numbers on the collets, but you really are going to pick the one that fits the drill. The web diameter adjustment you make is in mm, so a small digital caliper is a good idea. Read the drill size in mm, and set the knob, set the drill bit in the collet, and off you go. The drill bit is held firmly in the chuck and collet. Once the bit is in place, it's held firmly so that there is no guessing for either the first cut, or splitting the point. Very consistent from one bit to the next. It takes less than 30 seconds to sharpen a bit. Pay attention to the setting on the "web diameter". You don't have to be super precise as you set the knob, but neither can you be way off on the diameter of the drill. I've gone through a good part of my drill index, sharpening the bits that are worn and damaged by my attempts to sharpen free hand. All are usable again. Now, the down side. Little things, but still.... No name plate, no sticker with the voltage and current draw, not UL listed. The response from the seller was that it's in the manual. I'm pretty sure it's required for to be on the device on electrical equipment in the USA. NO instructions at all on how to adjust the center of the drill, just a picture showing that it exists. It's important to have it right to get the relief angle and web diameter right. Mine wasn't set right. No warranty. As has often been said, if it isn't written down, it doesn't exist. When I queried the seller, they said 1 year - and I have a screen shot of that. But stuff happens, things fail that shouldn't, which is why warranties exist. I can't find it on the Amazon page, it's not in the manual. I'd be more comfortable if they fixed both issues. Having said that, I'm still giving it a 5 star rating because it's made well, and sharpens bits very easily and exceedingly well.

Great value
This drill bit sharpening machine is phenomenal. Worth every penny. Sharpen drills better than factory. The collets work on both metric and sae bits.

Works excellent
Excellent drill grinder. Heavy duty and produces excellent split points, even on the small ones. Way better and faster than the Dr. But if you have a dr, don’t throw it because if you break and cut a bit, it can help you get the right shape before you actually make it sharp on the MRCM/vevor if you not handy with a grinder

Had a Drill Doctor that never worked right and replaced it with the MRCM Drill Bits Sharpener. What a difference. The MRCM sharpens way better than the DRILL Doctor with way less hassles and way easier to set up. Plus unlike the DD it’s all metal so no plastic parts to wear out. Small bits are not a problem either.

Unexpectedly Good!
Having gotten disgusted with the plastic D Dr sharpener that I had for years (that would no longer hold or sharpen a bit correctly), I decided to take a chance on this machine. Based on YouTube reviews, it was supposed to be pretty good. The You Tubers all said the included instructions sucked, and they weren't exaggerating. I started to give it 4 stars for the sketchy instructions, but the thing works so well I thought that would be a little unfair. It's not a Darex, but it doesn't cost $2500+ either. A little to my surprise, this thing works really well and it is quick (especially compared to plastic Dr)! I have a small machine shop and sharpen more than a few drill bits. This thing gets it done! It's made of metal - no plastic! The collets and holders are good quality and the fixtures are accurate. I recommend this sharpener. Even though the collet and fixture graduations are metric, it works just fine on all standard bits. Just be sure to get your instructions from You Tube.

Works well, seems like a solid machine that is built to last
First, like most people have said, the instructions for use are lacking. Other than that, I am extremely pleased with the product. I bought the one that goes up to 3/4 inch bits and it works just fine on the larger bits as well. I’ve probably sharpened about 200 bits so far with no issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend spending the extra money to do the split point. I’m sharpening all my bits now to 135 degrees with a split point. I had a drill doctor before and this works way better. As for the seller, we had some misunderstanding on what was included with the product based on their description, but to their credit, they recognized the discrepancy, corrected the description on the listing, but even better, they honored their mistake and sent me an extra sharpening stone. Good on them! I will add, up to this point, I see no wear on my existing grinder stone and the entire unit seems very solid. If I had any other complaints, it would be that the individual collets are not clearly marked and I think the holes that they are stored in could be better marked. Also, it would be nice if there was a place to store the chucks that hold the collets ( mine has two, since mine goes up to 3/4”) with the machine. Other than that, if you can afford it, it’s a solid product and I am very pleased with it, especially compared to my drill doctor, which I have now parted with. Yes I would recommend.
