Prop 65, Taste, and Side effects
First, I would like to address a recent review. I saw that spoke on the prop 65 lead and cadmium warning on the back. Any product that contains hazelnuts will have to have a prop 65 warning on it prop 65 warnings are not an indication of contamination, but a warning on commonly found minerals associated with certain ingredients. No, my review on the taste of the product. I saw some people saying that it wasn’t sweet. I find that to be very shocking because it’s very sweet. It has no aftertaste that can be found with other alternatives like Stevia or monk fruit. I’m actually very happy with this product, but I will add with my experience with other allulose products diarrhea or increased bowel movements can be a side effect. If you’re constipated, that sounds great, if you regular be warned!

Great taste, no BS rising
4.5/5 taste & this doeznt raise my Blood sugar lije some stevia & other sugar substitutes.Hint: in my 12oz coffee, 1 Tsp Hvy whipping cream, 1 tsp powdered allulose, 1 tsp of this & use a frother, whips up nicely & tastes great with no off-taste like some flavored syrups.

Yummy!
I love using this syrup in my tea and coffee. I'll probably expand to using it for homemade hazelnut ice cream, etc. It has no funny aftertaste. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Wish it Was More Natural
It has a nice hazelnut flavor and smell, but I prefer something other than monkfruit sweetener. In addition, it has some artificial ingredients I try to avoid.

Good but use in moderation
This should go without saying, but it doesn't seem to be the case when I read reviews. When reading reviews of food or beverages remember that taste is personal and also biochemical, so preferences and our tastebuds can dictate whether we like or dislike something. I was looking for a flavoring without refined sugar and artificial sweetener aftertaste. So the natural flavoring by monk fruit seemed to be a good choice. I then found that this also contained allulose. Allulose is a also a naturally occurring sweetener. So I was willing to take a chance on this hazelnut flavoring. I personally like the taste of this flavoring. I didn't get the artificial sweetener aftertaste. However, I needed to use more to get the level of hazelnut flavoring I wanted. When I used too much (for me about 3 teaspoons) I had gastrointestinal upset, lasting about half a day. So I now use the Monkshushu along with a sugar sweetened flavoring ( but only about teaspoon of that in a double espresso/6 oz of oat milk cappuccino). It cuts the calories, and gives me the flavor I want without gastrointestinal distress. So I can't personally give it 5 stars, but can recommend trying it with the above caveat.
