Ordered this kit for the HandyDashcam that I put into our daughters Mazda. This ket was super easy to install. Plug in the Mini USB into the jack on the dash cam. As you can see in my close up photos, the male plug end on this converter cord is a Mini-USB, not a Micro, and not a USB-C.This is a very good quality product. The kit included everything one could possibly need to install the power end of the cord into the vehicles fuse box. There are eight different adapters! One of them will work in your vehicles fuse box. I located the correct adapter and was able to successfully power up the dash cam. Once the wire was tucked away into the ceiling and the pillar the only part left exposed was the plug and short section of wire. This gave the dash cam a nice clean professional appearance.Will this kit make the dash cams day or night vision display work better than the cigarette liter plug that was included with your dash cam? No, but it will make the installation more professional and the removal of the cigarette liter plug will be a much cleaner look.If your installing a dash cam with a mini USB jack, do yourself a favor and purchase this kit! You will be so glad you did.

This is a complete, comprehensive kit. Ready to use. I was able to connect to my fuse box with the fuse adapter cables in a few minutes. However, I need to recheck and verify output amps. I connected to a carplay that requires 2A output, and connecting anything less will not provide enough power to internal accessories (fm module). This was the case here. Verified again with the original plug and back to this hardwire. It does power on the screen fine and other functions work fine.As for the kit, it comes with all the wires, fuses, and a fuse puller. There is an instructions paper with color pictures. The fuse puller is very flimsy. Fuses with straight access with ample room, it works. It slips so much, especially ones that are down or towards the corner. Had to open the hood and get the OEM puller. I got the kit for the 5V2.5A and usb C interface. The wire length is sufficient to get this up to the top to the middle above the mirror. The provided plastic trim tool helps pry the plastic pieces to slot in the wire. The plastic is pretty safe and flexible to prevent scratches but you can still wrap it some electrical tape if you spot any sharp edges. Overall, this is a good kit.

This dash cam wiring kit is very complete. I previously had a kit that only provided one fuse tap of each size, which is pointless as you need two of your size for both the 12V+ and the ACC fuses. Well, this kit comes with two fuse taps of each size. They provided everything you need to run a USB cable to where your dash cam mounts, making for a cleaner install and not have to worry about a cable dangling down. Everything fits as it should and the ACC wire is doing it's job ensuring the dash cam turns off when the key is removed from the ignition.

This is a really simple to install dash cam kit. It gives you all the fuse options you can possibly need. The riser for the existing fuse is tall enough to avoid hitting anything else in the fuse block, but still clears the cover. There is a 12v cut off so your camera will not kill your battery - if your system goes below 12v it will cut power to the camera.

The cable is extremely long for my needs, I had a LOT of excess cable that I had to tie up and try to hide. It does work well and now I don't have a cable hanging down to the USB port by the shifter. Makes it for a MUCH cleaner setup.

The voltage is correct however when the car is in parking mode the camera stays on and continues to record. It will not go into parking mode or time lapse mode.

This kit is really easy to use. It comes with many fuse adapters, and one set of them happened to fit the Yukon I installed this in. It powers the dash cam perfectly. Much more elegant than just plugging a dash cam straight into a socket.
