Easy to Connect
I have installed three of these so far in the house and it works great. Once you get the first Kasa product installed the rest follow suit. The initial one was a little difficult to install but that's just an issue on my part. I have 12 total Kasa smart switches in my house and all work great. Installing two more torrow and hope to install 4 more soon in addition to the Kasa thermostat. Good value for the money as you can see. The Kasa app is easy to use as well and I have had no problems getting the switches to work in the app. If you get an Echo product to go with the switches it makes it even better. Being able to remotely turn off those pesky lights your children left on while trying to run out the door is amazingly convenient. I have had no connectivity issues unlike other reviews. I have a good router and plenty of WiFi coverage in the home so it makes me wonder if the issues with the other reviewers were that they didn't have good coverage in their homes. The dimming feature worked flawless as it was able to dim lights i didn't even know could be dimmed in our home.

A Must buy!
My regular go-to smart lighting switch. Affordable and installs easily. Other brands like GE dies when a rainstorm comes... I've had to change out so many. This one, keeps on working!

Network setup is a pain
The switch itself works great and pairs easily with Alexa. I have numerous Kasa smart switches and plugs, they all work flawlessly. The two gang switch has issues pairing. I tried multiple times with my phone and it would not pair to the switch. Read a review that said to try with a tablet so I tried that. Two gang switch paired immediately without issue. Note, you pair one and then the other. To pair the second switch I had to rejoin the TP-Link WiFi network even though I was already connected to it.

Easy to install and use
This is great in our house to time our outdoor lights above our garage. I have switch for the garage indoor lights that is not on a timer and then the second switch for the lights outside the house and timed them to go on each night. I am not an electrician but know a little bit and it took me about an hour to install however my current plugs were quite disorganized. I am sure it is much quicker to install but regardless anyone can do it with a little time. Seems to hold up well, I’ve had them for almost a year now with no issues.

Great smart switch solution
I originally purchased three individual kasa switches and utilized them in another room in my house. The setup is extremely simple and I found the integration with Alexa was very smooth and they are my go to switches. This set has a specialty cover plate that ensures the two switches sit in perfect alignment and are flush giving a great finished product over using a conventional cover plate and having slight alignment issues with individual switches. While I don’t have an issue these switches are not a conventional on or off type switch but function as push type switches. When off the switch has an illuminated symbol showing it is ready to be operated, when on the symbol is off. I will be purchasing additional Kasa switches as I expand my smart home.

Install tips - I've had over a dozen for 3 years, no issues.
I've installed 14 of these in my home since 2021 and never had a severe failure but before I installed any of them I put in a whole house surge protector. The other things you might want to have are Wago wire nut alternatives which make installation very easy when you have a lot of wires or you are putting in more than 2 switches in a box. I also recommend outlet spacers. The 5-way splicers from Wago are ideal when putting in 4 of these. Wire all grounds neutrals and 1 of the blacks from each switch together outside of the box. You connect the ground, neutral and supply once, then each light/fan and you are done in the box.

Look good, will dim LEDs, and work well with Alexa. Your installation mileage may vary.
We got these switches for a spot in the house that controls both the recessed lights in the kitchen ceiling and the Sputnik chandelier in the dining room. I wasn't satisfied with the old arrangement I had cobbled together with side-sliding dimmer switches, and thought voice control would be handy given the dining room light shines into the living room and is inevitably on when we sit down to watch a movie. They've worked out very well.First off, I wasn't comfortable installing these, but only because in addition to the requirement of a white "neutral wire" (which I happily found nestled in the back of the switch box) these switches also require the use of a "load line," an additional black wire which isn't hot, which I was also able to locate but required a pigtail for the second switch. And this box was originally a 3-way because the dining room once had a fan rather than a chandelier. Too many wires for me. I called our local one-man electrician shop, and he came and knocked it out in an hour or so.LIKESThey work! Kasa is a solid platform, and these days the Amazon Echo environment automatically adds Kasa devices once installed. I already had the app, so it was a 2-minute process naming the lights for voice control and dimming. All the lights in question are LED, and the dimming is frankly pretty "notchy," but I think that's more on the bulbs than the dimmer. If you try to dim too far down, or say, turn them on at 10%, you get nothing. But turn them on 40% or so and you can still dim down a bit. Good enough for me.DISLIKESNothing much, but when using the switches manually, the main switches have squishy feel. And the included switchplate, which snaps into place, looks clean and smooth without any screw holes, but it's white plastic, and we've got wood or stainless steel switchplates everywhere else. On the other hand, the dimming buttons on the bottoms of the switches are nice and "clicky," and it's brilliant that the switches show a dim circle of light when they are *off* meaning you can see them in the dark. Very high-tech.ConclusionI'm glad we got these. There aren't many Alexa-controlled dimmers available, and I like to use Kasa when I can because their products generally work and play well with the Amazon platform. Another bonus of the voice control besides dimming during a movie is that we can avoid adjusting the kitchen lights with sticky hands in the middle of a cooking job -- my wife is especially happy with that.Four stars -- recommended.
