Easy 12V for RVs, vanlife, cars, etc
Comes with a wall wart, 120VAC to 12VDC Volts with a DC 5.5x2.1mm male plug into the fan’s female plug.I’ve successfully powered it with a Jackery and LiFePO4 battery through a cable, male at both ends: 12V cigarette lighter plug to 5.5x2.1mm.I wish it had a timer function. And it does seem expensive for what it is. Looks like there are 2 blower fans inside of it. Air comes in from the bottom. It does feel and look like a quality build though. Easy to set up.Strong air flow. Good range of speed settings, from .5A to 2A (6-24 Watts). Oscillation function only seems to add 1 Watt to the power draw. The noise is relatively broadband, low-mid pitch. I sleep with it under my hammock, blowing on my back, at the second highest setting without being annoyed by the sound. The highest 2 settings are loud, but have a much more pleasant sound than the high-pitched whine I’m used to from small 12V fans.

Sleek blower… errr fan
Got this because it is horizontal and fits in front of the tv without obscuring the subtitles. Also ideal for on the dresser aimed over the bed. It’s sleek design uses 2 motors and is said to be more energy efficient which is great for plugging into a battery bank during a power outage. It’s got 5 speeds and it pretty quiet on the 2 lowest settings. It does an excellent job of pushing air out and the unique vertical oscillation is effective, albeit unusual. It looks more like a speaker than a fan, but it is cool, well constructed and so far worth the hefty price tag. The remote is tiny and has a magnet, but I’ll need to be careful not to loose it. Overall I recommend this fan for a small to medium size room for anyone not wanting a typical mundane propeller fan. Cheers!

Creaky and Loud
Airflow is overall good, however after 3 days of use it makes very loud creaking sounds while oscillating.

Cooling is awsome when air is on. Noise is not aloud unless it's on high but doesn't bother me. Works well for a 10x10 room

Expensive and noisy
I was hoping to love this fan. Unfortunately, it doesn't hold up. My 1st unit failed within a couple weeks. The fan would rattle as it ran. The replacement I was sent was fine until the past few days where the fan is rattling inside the unit. The higher the speed the worse the rattle. What I do love is the low profile so it can sit on the floor under a bench and blow cool air down my hall. I leave it on for hours a day for this reason. It works great, but the noise level due to the rattle is too high and also indicative of imminent failure. I'd expect more from a $100 fan. Maybe it works better if you only use it a little bit at a time. I will not be getting another replacement.

I’m hooked on Vornado
This AXL fan is what they describe. I describe it as a zone fan that can also provide direct close air circulation for my comfort. Modern and fits into a technology environment. I could not find specs on CFM but it is really new. It is similar to the new slice fan but has two small fans instead of one and is horizontal drawing air from the bottom. Check out the dimensions it is small enough to enjoy a breeze next to your bed and quiet enough to live there. It is a Vornado so no worries about replacement or support. The team they have has alway been cordial and effective with any issues. I just can’t say anything negative about their DC products. I even run them off of my solar generator. Warranty is exceptional. That’s enough of my lip. You have to try to enjoy a seat at the table.

cool design but not near powerful enough to be worth half the $100 price tag
I really liked the design of this fan except for the lack of a much more powerful air flow that Vornado is known for. The remote is nice but easy to lose because its very small, the fan itself runs well, functions well, havent had any pronblems with it yet, & it looks cool too but the air flow on the highest setting for any fan in this price range should definitely be at least 3 times the air output on this fan turned all the way up. So even though i do like the fan, it’s just not nearly powerful enough to keep ya cool at night after a hot summer day like a simple & much cheaper $20 box fan does for the average size bedroom.

Very Unique
I like interesting products and this looked like a very unique fan that could be in the living room and not look cheap or out of place. It works perfectly, blows hard and does reach far. It's a bit louder than I expected. The motor that moves it up and down is a bit loud, and the fan is loud when not on the lowest setting. However even on the lowest setting it moves a lot of air. It's a conversation starter, when people come over and see a DVD player rotating up and down under the TV they are confused lol
