I'm an African American (AA) male and there's a stylist I follow on IG/ FB that always creates beautiful haircuts styles for AA men. Men with some length to their hair, he tends to finish off the hair where the natural curl pattern of the hair shines through. It always looks very healthy and clean. I asked him how he gets the hair to behave so well. He told me this is the gel he uses. It's a sleeper product but it really does the job. I've been using it now for two years and I'm a fan 4 life! As soon as my hair gets a little length to it (just past a nice clean Caesar style), I grab this gel and either 1) brush 2) sponge or 3) finger manipulate... and BOOM!!! CURLS!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME! TIPS: a) this is a dense gel. A little goes a long way b) Using too much WILL cause flaking... and NOBODY WANTS THAT. It is very concentrated c) Personally, I scoop some out, put in in another container and add water. Shake it up and let it blend. It's the same product but not nearly as thick (a thinner consistency). For MY HAIR TYPE, this seems to be the winning ticket for my hair to cooperate best. BEST PART - you CANNOT beat the price. These jars really last bc you simply do not need much at all. I'm VERY pleased.

I’ve always had problems looking for the right hair gels, They were either too expensive or just didn’t work. I tried this the first day I got it and amazing results. Having 4c hair has always been hard to maintain on certain day so having a slick up bun or ponytail is all I can do. But.. at times it doesn’t look slick or don’t stay all together with other gels. First time I used this gel it stayed nearly all day. There is no residue or flacking. ABSOLUTELY recommend this for all hair types!!

Go ahead, throw all of your other hair gels, pomades, creams, and hairsprays away guys. This is all you will ever need.My hair grows forward VERY strongly - it resists every effort for me to try and make it stand up and give it some style. I'm a white guy and my hair is wavy when it grows out. My hair is soft but thick.For years I used to get a buzzcut or a fade. My barber always had a tub of this stuff in front of him but I never had a need for it. However in the past year I've been growing my hair longer and styling the front and top into a fauxhawk kind of deal. I've gone through all the usual products - Axe pomade, expensive stuff from the hair supply store, regular old gel, and hairspray. All of it sucked and never held my hair how I wanted it for more than 15 minutes.... until I used Gummy.Pros:Quantity - You get a TON! I'm not sure how long this will last but I can report in every month or so as I will be using this daily. Only enough to cover about 2 fingertips is good enough for me.Consistency - It's more liquid than a pomade but a little more thick than most hair gels. Has a red color to it but goes on clear. Matte finish, not shiny.Smell - I don't think I've smelled something better in my entire life. Smells like you just got the freshest cut from your barber and lasts all day. Not overpowering.Hold - Applies to hair very easily. I ensure my hair is a little damp as it seems to style better. After about 30 seconds the Gummy gel hardens up and holds your hair. It does not flake, it is not shiny, and it is not hard like a rock. Whichever way you comb your hair with it is how it will stay. For reference the hair I am styling with it is about 1.5-2 inches long at the longest.Additionally I work in a hospital and work up a sweat a LOT, especially in the warmer months. This stuff is entirely sweat proof - the hold looks exactly the same after a sweaty 12 hour shift as it did when I styled it earlier that morning. My old gels/pomades used to sweat out and make my forehead oily, often causing acne. Gummy goes in your hair and does not leave until you shower it out.Cons:Container is a tub and the lid's fit is poor. My main concerns follow:1. After sticking your fingers in the same tub for a few months it might get kind of gross. Make sure they are clean first.2. The container's lid is a very poor fit. If you twist it more than a quarter turn it will "pop" and be loose again. I'm worried that it will dry out because the seal does not appear to be very tight. Considering how much gel is in the container this could be potentially a big loss.TL;DR: 5 stars. This hair gel is outstanding and you get a ton for your money. Perfect hold, sweat proof, washes out super easily in the shower with some shampoo. It's currently a 5 star rating but if I find it dries out due to the poor fit of the lid I may have to remove some stars... only time will tell.

This is a perfect hair gel. Keeps hair neat . Only con is after while your hair will get these little brown balls of build up gel. So it’s important to keep your hair moisturized and combed out while using this product. Other than that will buy again. Also has a strong cologne sent .

I really like this product. I used it for my edges and it did a great job I was really surprised that my edges stayed edging ALL throughout the day. Lol From 7am until after 8pm it was still intact.I used it my daughter ponytail and it did what it had to do. Definitely did not disappoint.A little bit goes a long way.

So I brought this in April of 2021 and I am just now buying another one. There is a lot in this container...i transfer some into something smaller for travel, as again...it is a big container. This product works fantastic...esp considering how curly my hair is...doesn't flake...strong hold...smells pretty decent. Big fan.

Good strong hair gel.. Iv been gelling my hair for a good 25yrs and have to say I'm impressed with this stuff would highly recommend and you get a big tub for a good price.

Trattasi di 1 confezione da 700 ml di gel per capelli di un azienda Turca che prende il nome di Fonex.Faccio la premessa che utilizzo questo marchio da quasi 5 mesi ed ho provato parecchie varianti di questo gel e questa è in assoluto la mia preferita.Il gel in questione ha una colorazione rosso rubino ma una una volta steso sui capelli risulta trasparente ed invisibile, avendo dei capelli neri corvino un po’ opachi ,risulta molto gradevole il fatto che l’olio contenuto nel composto lascia un effetto leggermente bagnato e molto naturale,non cementa i capelli ma ha una buona tenuta che dura tutto il giorno , pertanto non lo sconsiglio a chi deve semplicemente disciplinare i capelli .Il gel non è aggressivo e non contiene alcool , pertanto va bene per qualunque tipologia di capello ,senza che ne alteri il cuoio capelluto o crei della forfora tipica dei gel molto economici.In merito alla profumazione ,questa è molto leggera e già dopo un ora non si percepisce più .La durata del gel è più che buona ,di fatti dopo averlo messo sui capelli,dura tutto il giorno e ne basta il quantitativo di una piccola noce .La confezione indica un fissaggio molto forte ma in verità è una tenuta medio/forte.La confezione ha un sigillo che identifica l’integrità del prodotto.Mi sento di consigliare questo gel a chiunque ha l'esigenza di tenere i capelli in ordine senza rinunciare alla qualità di un prodotto superiore che non contiene agenti chimici aggressivi.Nota non di poco conto è il fatto che non appesantisce i capelli ed è quindi possibile utilizzarlo frequentemente.Cifra di acquisto di 9,49 € che attribuiscono un buon rapporto qualità prezzo che mi permettono di consigliarne l’acquisto .Validazione massima a 5 stelle.
