Whenever something embarrassing sneaks in, one tap on the IPS touchscreen lets me shuffle the order, add a cheeky caption or delete that shot of my heroic yoga flop.Its built-in 32 GB memory claims room for about 50,000 photos which feels rather optimistic unless you shrink the files first, yet it is still roomy enough to hold every muddy football triumph and chocolate-smeared grin the children have managed so far. The companion app flings pictures from my phone to the frame quicker than Mum can shout, “Any new ones of the grandchildren?” Auto-rotation earns a nod of approval, though the mains lead does limit where the frame can perch, unless I fancy draping cables across the carpet.Image quality is pin-sharp, the set-up takes all of five minutes and the little reaction icons keep the Cardiff branch of the clan chatting long after the slideshow has finished. A built-in rechargeable battery would make it perfect, but even without that luxury this gadget dishes out daily smiles and proves excellent value for money.

Bought this as a Mother’s Day present for my mum as she has tons of photos on memory cards & her phone. I also wanted to add our wedding photos to it too for her. There’s a free app for setting up the frame & it’s so easy to use. I chose this frame because it has internal memory space but also an SD card slot so hopefully will hold all her 1000’s of pics eventually!!She has this running all the time & you can set different display times etc.We have an Echo show 10 & i uploaded my photos to it using the Amazon Photos app & my mum had seen that running & liked that but isn’t too keen on having an Alexa in her home. She’s not really tech minded so i thought this frame would be easier for her to use. Since setting up her pics on the frame, both items are just as easy to operate. If you’re looking just to look at photos this is the gadget for you, but also consider the EchoShow if you think you’d use the functions of everything included on that.

The Frameo 10.1-inch Wi-Fi photo frame has become the liveliest screen in our flat. Its bright 1280 x 800 IPS panel delivers colours that match real life and, which is rather handy for a tall chap like me, the picture stays consistent whether I am standing bolt upright or slumped on the sofa. With 32 GB on board, it swallows a ridiculous number of photos, and the Frameo app flings new snaps over Wi-Fi in a heartbeat, even while I am rattling along on a tram through Manchester. It flips between portrait and landscape automatically, no fiddling required, and the little caption box lets my son label his latest Lego masterpiece.The touch screen responds quickly, although the menus could do with a tidy-up. The plastic stand is adequate, but it wobbles if a sugar-fuelled three-year-old barges past. My only genuine gripe is the absence of an internal battery, so a nearby plug socket is essential.Despite those quirks, the punchy images, effortless sharing and handy SD card back-up make this frame a cracking way to keep scattered relatives in the loop. For the money, it delivers far more than I expected.

I don't usually write reviews but this frame is amazing especially if you are buying for an older non technical person it's spot on, we bought one for my mother in law for mother's day and she loves it and the size is perfect. It's so easy to setup for me and my wife to send pictures to the frame using the app, all I had to do was plug it in and connect to the Wi-Fi and just leave it.I even bought the subscription to the app to have the few extras because £7.99 a year really is great value. Photos upload really quickly and effortlessly. When I was setting it up it was easy to use and setup and the touch screen is very responsive.I've just bought another frame to give to my father in Spain so can control both easily from our phones.Note to the developers, you've made technology easy to use and feature rich, keep it up! ☺️

Why did you choose this product over others?:Great value for the price! The display is clear, and it's easy to set up. It’s a fantastic way to showcase memories. The only downside is that the micro SD card slot is a bit tricky — removing the card can be difficult, especially if you have larger fingers.

On board memory and SD card hold lots of photos. Touch screen works well, doesn't pick up excessive finger marks. Picture quality is reasonable/good. We got these for grandparents who are happy with their notifications and updated pics. Accompany app works well and integrates with the photos-share function.

This has been a fantastic purchase. Easy to set up and use, we bought this as a way to share photos with granny/great granny. She is easily confused but, the preset ‘sleep mode’ means she is not distracted by it overnight. A gentle sound notification lets her know when a new photo has been shared and the option to add captions lets us add an explanation of what the photo shows.Photos are added via an easy to use app. Some additional features can be paid for but not really necessary in our experience. The only thing we would like to do, but can’t with the free offering, is see which other pictures have been added and how close we are to reaching capacity. Otherwise very easy to add photos, captions and - with a recent update - see how the photo will look in the frame and adjust accordingly.This is a great option for family who you don’t see often or, in our case, a means of involving an elderly, confused relative in our day to day.
