This is One Great Wok
I took the plunge and finally bought a wok. My review is for the flat bottom wok, not the extra wide bottom for electric and induction stove tops. (Which is, by the way, a nice option). It would have been easy to buy your basic traditional carbon steel wok but when I found out what it took to properly season one I decided to look elsewhere. This wok does require some more basic seasoning though. Once I got this one well seasoned, it has worked like a charm. After some use I noticed it gets even better. Nothing sticks and it's so easy to clean. After cleaning with warm water, just dry it thoroughly, put it on a burner to warm it up, then rub it down with a few drops of peanut oil. Or you can use whatever oil you like. It's an excellent wok and I recommend it highly. Go to Asian Garden 2 Table for a couple of videos on this wok for more information.

My Best Purchase For This Year
I cook Chinese food daily. I use wok daily. I've tried stainless woks and non-stick woks. I also have cast iron pans. I can't remember how many non-stick woks I've thrown away. The coating on the non-stick wok just doesn't last long. And stainless woks burn food easily. I love cast iron products, but they are too heavy for a tiny Chinese. So finally I found this light cast iron wok. I seasoned it with beef fat( see pictures 1-3). It doesn't burn food most time, unless the food is starchy and the temperature is too high. Controlling the temperature is a key to make the wok "non-stick". I can lift it up with one hand long enough to get my food out. I love this wok. Best purchase among all my woks I used before.

One that can last long.
I think the wok is little bit over weight. If you can make the wok little thinner (around 3~4 lbs) and lower price , I think it will be popular. Any way, this wok can last for your lifetime if handle properly.

Love the wok!
Very good craftsmanship. The wok comes sleek and smooth. Some simple seasoning with oil can make the pan go none stick.Love it!

Meets all expectations
This light weight cast iron wok heats evenly and does a good job of maintaining temp as ingredients are added. My only wish is that it was larger.

Awesome wok, I use it twice a week
Solid and easy to clean , very useful for shrimp dishes, vegetables, chicken even eggs

Transportation is too slow
The pot is very perfect, but the transport is too too too slow!!!
