Excellent!
They fit well and are easy to set up. Winning perfectly on Bluetooth and also via the Sonos app. Sound quality is astounding! I’ve owned Apple AirPods and these easily match and indeed are far better in many ways.Value for money, especially as I managed to get them on Black Friday deal.Uncomfortable even when wearing glasses.Noise cancellation is top quality and the see through mode hardly feels like your wearing headphones.Just superb quality from Sonos. The solid case they come in is excellent and the little cable pouch clips into the case with a magnet. So easy to use. Would recommend them for anybody who wants a really good pair of cans that sound great, look stylish and fit really well.

Well made and good quality full sounding
Excellent t sound quality and the ANC is as good as the AirPods Max, plus they do seamlessly connect between 2 devices. The earcup is a little small, so securing a fit for the ANC would be difficult for those with larger ears.Their connection to the ARC is seamless and works extremely well.Their battery life is excellent and the pouch is top quality too.

100% obsessed with these!
These are my first pair of over-ear headphones so I did a lot of research before committing to a purchase. I’ve had Apple AirPods for years and they were great because for my sins, I’m definitely stuck in the Apple money pit so they worked well when I wanted to move between my iPhone and my iPads, very little faff to get them to change which device they were synced to. Downside - I found they weren’t always that comfortable and they’re not the best for noise cancelling background noise. I did have a look at the AirPods Max and there’s a lot of great reviews for them, but I also think there’s a lot to be said for choosing a product where the company’s core focus is producing great quality sound. There were a few less positive reviews for the Ace as they’re a newer product, but I decided to take the plunge and they are absolutely worth every penny. I bought them back in August and today (just over 3 months later) is the very first time I’m charging them after relatively frequent use including a round trip from London to New York where I used them solidly for the whole duration of both flights. I’d say I’ve got around 40-45 hours out of the battery, which is way more than the 30 they advertise. I’ve had no issues at all with connectivity - you download the Sonos app, press a button on the headphones and you’re good to go. Each time you use them after, you just need to press the button to connect/disconnect. The only time it’s slightly clunkier is if I’m switching between devices, i.e. moving from listening on my iPhone to listening on my iPad, I sometimes have to go into the app on the other device to get it to register but it happens too infrequently for me to really consider it ‘a problem’. They’re comfortable, lightweight and come in a case that’s easy to transport. Noise cancellation is fantastic! Again, using them on a flight made me appreciate just how noisy flights are because I could hear so little of the background noise when I was using these that I now feel like I’d just want to put these on even if I wasn’t listening to music. They were discounted (around £60 off full price) when I bought them but I’d still buy them again even if it meant paying full price. They’re also great for phone calls, I’ve had no problem hearing calls clearly or callers hearing me so I can confidently say I’d never go back to using AirPods now. In fact, it’s been so long since I’ve used mine I don’t even know where they are. Ignore any of the doubters around these, they are brilliant!

Great sound, quality build, good sound / ear-cups too small
The title says it all.I owned them for 1 day and then returned them. Good product, but the ear cups are too small. I own Bose QuietComfort Ultra over ear / SONY WH-1000 XM4 / SONY WH-1000XM5 & SONY WF-1000XM4 (in-ear) / JBL TOUR 2 (in-ear) - I also owned the SONY WF-1000XM5 for one day, but returned them. The best over ear headphone (BY FAR!) is the SONY WH-1000XM5 and the in ear is the SONY WF1000XM4. My decision I based on 1) Sound quality / dynamic range reproduction 2) comfort.

Excellent headphones let down by woeful software
First off, these headphones sound very good indeed. They are comfortable lightweight and there are no complaints at all about the hardware. Then we move on to the software - oh dear. On purchase, there was an immediate upgrade. After several hours, lots of web searching and watching online videos, several app removal and reinstalls, I finally got them working. Very pleased until today and a new upgrade. After far too many hours and much of the same again, I couldn’t get the upgrade to install. I had to reset the headphones to factory setting and go through the first upgrade again to be able to do the new upgrade, and what do you know, several hours on and I’m stuck with a pair of headphones that won’t complete the upgrade and can’t connect to Bluetooth. Perhaps I am just unlucky, but looking at the pain that many users have been through, these just aren’t ready for the market yet. I had a house full of Sonos until a few months ago, but I’m slowly changing everything to other brands. The sound quality and build quality are really very good - don’t believe some of the online reviews about sound quality, but as with most electronics now, they rely heavily on software. If this doesn’t work, it all grinds to a halt. The one star is, of course, for the headphones not doing what they should. Amazon have accepted the return without fuss, so no fault there at all. Such a shame as I was really thinking that Sonos were over the worst of it…

Pleasantly surprised
Given the mixed reviews I had reservations moving from a pair on Sony WH1000XM3s but I have been pleasantly surprised. As I already have a home cinema setup from Sonos I thought these would be a great addition. Unlike some users setup in the Sonos app was flawless as was the subsequent firmware update. The sound while linked to the Sonos beam for home cinema was amazing. No need to turn down in the evenings anymore. Connected to both an iPhone 16 pro max and my laptop to test the duel connectivity and while it works is not a seamless as the Sonys. Sound while playing from Apple Music is full and immersive. The headphones are extremely comfortable to wear for extended periods with great battery life. ANC is a step up from my xm3s but agree that not as effective as Sonys latest xm5s. Build quality is typical Sonos and these feel like a quality item. Overall so far I am really happy with the Ace.
