We do not recommend mixing Down To Earth Fish Bone Meal 3-16-0 into water as this fertilizer is too coarse for liquid application. Fish Bone Meal is best used as an in-soil or top-dressed fertilizer. Once in contact with soil bacteria and fungi, it will slowly be broken down and fed to plants. One phosphorus and calcium source you might consider is Seabird Guano 0-11-0. Seabird Guano can be mixed into water, steeped, and then applied directly to plants.

Never notice a specific date but i would say two ro 3 years

Down To Earth does not recommend the use of most dry, natural amendments in the production of compost tea. Nutrient solubility is too low in these materials for them to be acceptable food sources for the microbes being cultivated.
