quiet, comfortable, and worth the money
I absolutely love this pump!! I think so far it's my favorite and i've tried many different wearable pumps (elvie, momcozy, lansinol, eufy)! the cups are hard plastic which I honestly thought I wouldn't like but I don't mind them at all. the cups are for real 3 parts! super easy to clean and put back together no keeping up with little pieces like the other pumps. my normal flanges for 24mm fit in it perfectly. I am a teacher and I can even use it at school and the kids can't hear it so it's quiet enough for that!! even some of the teachers didn't no it was my pump lol. the only thing I think could be better is how slightly difficult it is to take the cups apart lol but they stay together well while pumping!! of course the pump machine it self is kind of bulky but they made a slimmer version for a reason!! But I absolutely love that it's wearable cups with a good powerful pump that doesn't make my chest look huge and I don't have a big chest at all!!

Game Changer for Busy Mom’s
This is an AWESOME product and it’s so easy to use! It’s very convenient and efficient. I am a mom of a 17 month old and a new born and this breast pump really saves me so much time. With two tiny little ones I very rarely have time to sit and hold a pump to my chest. I can wear this breast pump and go on about my business tending to my little ones. It empties my chest (both) in about 30 minutes and is not painful at all. If you are struggling with trying to maintain a pumping schedule and care for your little ones, this is the ideal product for you. Prior to purchasing this pump, my pumping sessions took up to an hour because I had to pump one at a time. I could’ve pumped both at the same time but then both of my hands would be tied for 30+ minutes. As you know, with little ones we can’t afford to be without a free hand. What I like most is that the pump is only about 3 pieces so it’s not much to wash when finished. It’s portable and comes with an arm sling to wear around. Many pros to this product!

Wish I bought this sooner!!
Currently 2 1/2 months into nursing and pumping. I’ve been wanting to get a wearable pump for the past couple weeks and after reading reviews for a variety of wearables I finally decided on the swing maxi. Was inclined towards medela due to my great experience with my symphony and this wearable did not disappoint. I’ve only used it for a day now and I already love it, having a wearable has already saved me hours that I’d otherwise be stuck on the couch with my symphony. It feels great to be able to multitask pumping and house chores. I use it for the same amount of time (20-30 mins) and still get my usual 4-5 ounces on each side. I definitely credit my symphony for developing my supply so I don’t know if I’d necessarily recommend this wearable to an exclusively pumping mom or a mom just starting out her breastfeeding journey, but over 2 months in with a strong supply I can confidently recommend this for when supply is established. Didn’t even know medela had an app but I love the Bluetooth feature and being able to track all my pumping sessions by syncing my swing maxi to the app. Also greatly appreciate the simplicity of cleaning with this pump, only three pieces that are straightforward to clean and don’t have a bunch of nooks and crannies to worry about like symphony parts. The only struggle I’ve encountered right away is slight difficulty opening the collection cups but I’m sure over time the pieces won’t be as stiff. Very glad it came with 21mm inserts too, I would’ve ordered them separately if the pump only came with 24mm so nice touch to include a smaller size. Overall great product, strongly recommend to anyone on the fence!!

It died in less than 6 months
Update: In less than 6 months, it died. It's fully charged, but the motor will start for maybe one or two suctions, then die... Even if it's plugged in. I called Medela, but you have to send it in so they can test it. While that makes sense, it's going to take way too long to get a replacement when it's something I use everyday! The pump in style I got a year ago still works, even though I use it twice as much as this one. (Although, it has given me a few scares where it starts up, but takes a while for the suction to kick in) Totally disappointed in this product. I got the Pump In Style first, and thought I'd try this one too. It's neat that it's portable and I'm not chained to the outlet. But it's also quite large, and doesn't exactly fit in my pocket. The battery doesn't seem to last that long, so that's a bit of a bummer. The suction is good. I was disappointed that the tubing isn't interchangeable with the Pump In Style. At least the membranes are interchangeable. Mixed feelings on the flanges with the new silicone outer part. I didn't find the old style uncomfortable, but this new one sometimes has issues getting a good seal for me. The backpack it comes with is cute! But not very practical. The compartment for the bottles is isn't big enough to add ice packs. I'm glad I have two pumps, one for work and one for home, but ehhhhhh... I'm not exactly in love with my purchase.

Great pump, poor battery life
Absolutely love this pump, I respond to it just as good as my Spectra wall pump. The reason I have 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the battery life. One 30min pump session takes about 30% of the battery life so I’m only able to get two to three pump sessions per charge. On a positive note, it does work while plugged into its charging cable so you don’t have to wait for it to charge before using again. This is much better than the cordless big name brands out there’s. Positives: 1. Works as good as my main wall pump 2. Very comfortable 3. Only 3 parts to clean per cup 4. Easy to put together and take apart 5. Easy to use and has a tracking app Negatives: 1. Poor battery life 2. Bulky (does fit in a waist pouch—I use one from sweat&milk) 3. Expensive backup parts— a set of cups and tubing are $80 (watch for sales!)

Not great suction
I received a Medela Max Flo pump with insurance and love it! Suction is great, but it is a plug pump. I was looking for a portable pump and decided to stick with Medela. The fact that it is portable is great and I love the collection cups, which fit comfortably. Unfortunately, the suction, to me is not so great. It takes way too long to pump 1-2 oz in the same time I would have pumped 5 oz with the Max Flo. I’m sad I spent the money on this one. Would highly recommend the Maxflo Medela pump!

Love this pump!
I was worried a hands free pump would work for me as I’m not an over producer but this pump exceeded my expectations! I get as much from this as I do my spectra 1. I love being able to get stuff done while pumping. The device is a little cumbersome when I hang it around my neck but it’s a small price to pay to not be tied down to a chair, holding the pumps.

I don’t love it
I have a regular Ameda pump. I’m currently having to nurse, pump, the bottle feed formula supplement every 2 hours. This process was taking an hour and killing my back leaning over to pump. It sucked holding the pump on with both hands. The things I don’t like about it is the app has missed pumping sessions or recorded them incorrectly. It’s hard to snap together-you have to be diligent about making sure the bottom is fully snapped. My fingers have gotten sore from taking it apart after a few days. The tube that connects to the pump comes out too easily. It vibrates which can be overstimulating at times, especially initially. I do love this pump for many reasons. I get about the same amount of milk out as I did with the other pump. It’s also a lot more comfortable and doesn’t hurt at all while my other one did. It’s given me so much time back (2 hrs a day). I can hold the baby, bottle feed while I pump now and do things around the house. Just being able to lean back and relax on my couch is amazing. UPDATE: after using this pump for awhile I started to hate it. I was constantly pulling the tubing out of the pump when moving around. It’s not long enough. I found it overstimulating with the vibrating it does. I went back to the Ameda using a pumping bra and found I get more milk out. I found from a lactation consultant I needed bigger flanges and this Medela pump only goes up to 27mm. I got even more milk with the larger flanges I was able to get for the Ameda pump. I also have to pump for less time now.
