Perfect solution for new trees
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I needed a good way to water some newly planted trees during this recent heat wave. These are perfect!

Good for older trees but only has 2 drip sites.
It's great that they have a bigger circumference that works better for older trees, but it only has 2 drip sites. Ideally they'd have drip sites along the circumference and not just in 2 places. It is also a little tricky to fill and does not drain all the way. That said, it did a good job at keeping our trees hydrated this summer.

Cap won't close without a lot of work
This is the second one I bought. Works great. My only complaint is the difficulty I had closing the cap. I strained my thumbs trying to press the two parts together. Finally gave up and walked away and left the water pouring everywhere. Tried again a few days later and finally got the cap to close. The summer heat softened the plastic. Since then it has closed easily.

Very cheaply made
Don't plan to leave this out for more than a couple of days. It's VERY thin and very poorly made.

Cheap plastic. Bought 8 of them and 3 have developed leaks at the seams.

Skip it
I bought one of these and returned it promptly. The water doesn't weep out of the bag, there are just two nozzles on the bottom where water leaks from. Most of the water just gets stuck inside the donut. Annoying at best...

Easy way to water a tree
Slow release is ideal for watering small to medium trees (you can water big trees with it, but you won't reach most of the roots because the water is released over a small area). Easy to fill and move.

Works great but can be annoying to fill
Works great but can be annoying to fill. Added bonus is it keeps weeds and grass from creeping if you leave it in place. Would be nice if it had some sort of adapter for a garden hose. I end up having to hold up the intake towards the end so air can be released while its filling up.
