This little guide was a big hit with the team with whom I traveled through central America. Small enough to fit in a pocket, laminated to protect it from sudden downpours / beer splashes, and just enough info to give you an idea of the zillions of critters so different to what we have here in the UK / Europe.

Great addition to our trip

Great little guide for the layman
This was perfect as a handy guide to keep in one's bag or in the car for quick identification. Of course, it's nothing like as comprehensive as individual bird, butterfly or wild animal guides, but I found we got this type of detailed information on guided tours where virtually all guides were extremely knowledgeable. We are interested in wildlife but are not massive, in-depth enthusiasts, so this served our purpose very well indeed.

Guida portatile, plastificata, da portare in giro nei parchi, per una prima rapida indicazione dell'animale incontrato. Disegni decisamente troppo piccoli.

viaje a Costa Rica
Viajamos a Costa Rica y esta guía nos sirvió todo el viaje. Aunque no están todos los animales, están la mayoría y es un buen recopilatorio, ideal para llevar encima.

Cool.
Portable, waterproof, helpful. Totally recommend. They sell similar in the shops on CR but it was nice to get and review before the trip
