Magnets work great!
I love these! I think they’re so cute. I used them as curtain ties, and they looked cute, but would slide down sometimes (I think they would stay better with a thicker curtain or different fabric). I also used them to wrap around hanging towels and it looked super cute. (Not a great picture, but you get the idea. They didn’t slip at all.) The magnets are strong and stay locked together.

Only stay in place if part of the curtain is between the magnets
I like these alot, but I have to make sure to include part of the curtain between the magnets, or the beads slide down- which is weird, because the curtains are heavy enough that you would think the tie-back would stay in place.
