Good for more than bicycles
The hook on the end of the pivoting arm could be slightly thinner, but it did grab the headset lock ring I bought the tool for. I may file it down a bit in the future. Also, this tool gets super bonus points for being just what one needs to loosen the plastic lock ring that holds a kitchen or bath faucet in place. It is worth the purchase price just for this alone, as plumbing is sometimes a real pain.

Easy adjustments
This was great to adjust my head bolt on the vtx1300. It’s a larger castle and this wrench did the job. It does loose its grip but some working the wrench onto the nut to keep it from slipping off. Got the job done. Would be nice to have a way to keep its adjustment.

Good, with a couple of caveats
This hook wrench seems well made. It's probably great for many applications. But there are two limitations to point out.1) The "hook" is a cylindrical pin. This may be fine, even required for some applications. But if you're trying to remove a locking ring with open slots, the pin tends to slip out. A square/rectangular cross section pin would be better.2) The wrench is fairly wide. Again, this may not pose a problem in many applications. But if you're trying to remove a bearing from a solid bicycle crank set, where the bearing is right up against the chain ring, the wrench is too wide and as you apply pressure, the pin will slip out of the slot.

Doesn't work on my VTX 1300 rear shocks
This is to small and the knuckle is to big to fit the round holes in the VTX rear shocks.

Sorry....no. Not for my preload collars.
I don't know how folks get this to work adjusting motorcycle shock preload collars. The pin is round, or rather, cylindrical. It does not sit well against the tab of the collar. The heads of the screw that holds the arm to the handle are too tall so trying to get that round pin to sit against the collar tab while the screw head is lifting the tool in an awkward way.........I cannot get the this tool to sit flat enough for it not to slide right out of the collar tab.I resorted to grinding the pin flat, grinding the screw heads down and still it slides out of the tab.....and it's heavy , and the swinging arm is floppy, which adds to it's inability to grab the preload collar tab. This was while the shock was out of the bike.....image the frustration with it in the bike.
