Redline K9 Puppy Bite Pillow Tug Toy 9.5" X 4.75" - French Linen (Orange)

This is a really goodbye bite pillow, it’s sort of bulky for a small pillow and a little tough to be honest. I’ve learned online that when you train your puppy or adult dog that you should start with something soft that allows the dog to realize that his bite makes a difference and if too tough u need to react faster for the dog to realize it. While my dog bit this pillow, I notice he reacts differently with a softer pillow, than he does with a firmer bite pillow like this one. Sometimes he’s doesn’t want to bite it and others he runs for right away. Just pay attention if your dog doesn’t like firm bite pillows when starting to train. If u like firm tough pillows, then this is the one for your dog.

Nice, well made product but definitely too hard for use with puppies. The older dogs love it as a small reward pillow but completely unable to use with the puppies.

Love this bite pillow!

While the product delivered was the right size for a pup, there's no real safe way to make this tug immobile for training and tug purposes.Other than the floppy handles and the above statement, I would say its overall a great tug, I use it for my older dog who is more reliable than the puppy with the movement.

I found the pillow to be too thick for my puppy malinois and too hard. The handles make it too flimsy for the slightly older dog because its easy for me to get bit by accident.. I experimented with it a few times over her development. Ended up giving it to my chiropractor for his 3 year old German Shepherd. Not a good pillow for a high drive dog.
