Totally saved my kitchen counter from getting paint stains on it. The mat is easy to clean. Quick trick, if you use acrylic paint you can let is dry over night and then just pop the dried paint off. Still easy to clean when paint is still wet. It does stain after a little bit,but doesn't leave marks on the new project. My favorite part is the holder for the cup. Such an easy way to keep water from spilling everywhere

I got this as a miniature painter. I wanted a mat that's easy to clean up in the event of a spill and something I could mix paints on. On those fronts the mat does quite well. It would be better if the mat was offered in white since that would allow for more accurate paint mixing.The only real problem I had with the mat was the fact that the included cup's silicone has a moderately sized bubble from the casting. The silicone over this area is quite thin and will wear out quite quickly (causing the cup to leak). If it wasn't for this I would have rated 4/5 instead.
