There is extra material around the top that keeps me from looking like a pinhead. Yay!! They fit well and keep at least the crown of my head dry. If I didn't have glasses temples interfering with the seal around my face they might keep more water out. They protect colored hair from the sun, and if you have the length of your hair pulled up to the crown will also protect the more fragile ends from chlorine and salt water. I used them all summer, once or twice a week, and they did not rip or tear. It's nice to have a spare to use when one is wet, or for a change of color, and the bonus ear plugs and nose clips are all I needed all summer this year. That was a savings of close to $10.

I am a male with short hair. I don't like caps that are too tight especially if I will be wearing it for 2 hours at a time. This one is a perfect fit even for someone with a normal sized head and short hair.

If your buying because you cannot have water in your ears, move on. Yes, they have ear plugs that goes with it. I bought this because they said it would fit over a lot of hair. It does, but it slides up. BUT, I purchased because they promised things would be kept dry. Although mostly dry, the water goes up in front of the ear by your face and the ear plugs keep coming untwisted and water still gets in. I’d like to keep my hair from turning yellow and I think that is mostly accomplished but the more important thing to me is to keep water out of my ears as I have issues all the time with my right one. So I am disappointed.

I have not used it in the ocean yet but i tried in on in the shower and no water came underneath it. It is very comfortable and fit my large head very well with no pressure on my forehead. I like the fact that I had extra room at the top for hair growth being that I currently have shorter than my normal length of hair. The value is great because you receive two caps with a choice of colors to match your suit. The material is sturdy and not thin at all. If you want a great cap buy it.

I’ve been using these swim caps since end of Summer 2023, it’s now February of 2024. I swim 2-3 times a week at the Y. They are still as good as when I first got them. The elasticity remains, still snug and no water leaking in!I also have hair down to my waist, the caps fit well and aren’t too tight even with all my hair.There was a time I was grabbing it out of my bag and my ring snagged on it pretty hard, not a puncture or tear.The quality is great and the bundle is priced really well. I totally recommend!
