Good quality and easy to use
We replaced our liner in our 27 foot pool and we wanted a better foundation for the new liner than just the sand. Did some research and found this pad. This pad is thick, appears to be verry durable and very easy to install. We smoothed out the sand and laid this over it. We installed new liner and it worked perfectly. A definite plus to our pool liner foundation. A good value.

Is a thick pice
This thing look good I’ve not used I bought 1 xs bigger than I need so I could double but it’s nothing special I was thinking it would have some type of tarp like on one side and then he vey pad but all it is Is a thick pice of black felt that is sure to biodegrade it quick amount of time in florida when we live on a sand bar but I’m still going to lay down a heavy 12 mil tarp first then the felt it not to expensive and will make me feel better so in a few Months I’ll let you know It going under an Intex pool 18x9 but had to take down due to flooding some wash during hurricane dieing to get it back up

Great product, 12' pool fit and easy to use.
Normally, I would just set the pool on the cement. But this is a great product. This product was like very heavy felt, and I am sure that with a little TLC, it will last for years. It kind of stuck to the cement area I was covering, so I had to do some stretching and move the edges up and down to get some air under it as I positioned it. Very easy for one person but my wife helped me. I have a 12' round pool and I have 2"-4" of this showing around the whole pool. The posts are all sitting on the liner as well. Two very good things it provided. 1) It will keep any little grains of sand or rock from loosening and causing a hole. 2) It gave me a totally clean area to lay out the pool. I will definitely use it every year and feel much more comfortable about no holed in the bottom of the pool. Thanks for providing a great product.

Does the job.
This is essentially a thicker black felt pad. It’s easy to roll out and set up under our small above ground pool. We purchased it for our 14 foot pool, the 15 foot pad fits perfectly with a small amount of overlap. We set our pool up in brick pavers and are hoping this prevents the small tears in the bottom pool lining, which we experienced last year. So far, it seems to be working. There is a seam down the middle, which you feel when you’re in the pool, but it’s insignificant really. I don’t know if it’s reusable, because water does get under the pool. Possibly it can be rinsed and dried, once we take the pool down.

It’s ok, for half the price.
Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t have paid what I did for this pool mat. It’s supposed to be “extra thick” (says it multiple times on the listing) but it’s definitely not. It’s basically just a big piece of felt, and felt is generally thin and isn’t very easy to work with. We put it exactly where we wanted it and it took some time to smooth it out. We put our 15 x 48 Intex pool on it and the two didn't match up, which is really frustrating because some of the pad sticks out and some doesn’t. Can’t speak to longevity because I just installed it, but being that it’s essentially felt I’m concerned with the water that gets on it and whether or not it’s going to create a mold situation under the pool. Won’t know that until we take down the pool someday. Should have just stuck with the tarp that comes with the pool.
