When I went to change my bulbs on my Dodge Durango, I thought it wise to get some new bulb holders. Well the problem with these are they are much too tight in my estimation. At first I tried one on a new bulb, and I simply could not get it on. The little tines kept getting in the way of being able to pivot it on to the bulb, and so I ended up using the old bulb holders with my new bulbs and they worked fine. However, after I did change the bulbs, I decided to use one of the old bulbs and try even further to see if I could get these on to the bulb itself. And sure enough, after using a small screwdriver to push down the little tines to clear the edge of the metal case of the bulb, it fit over the metal bulb bracket, and I could pivot them (barely). They were very very tight to pivot, and since it was an extremely tight area to work in to begin with, it would have made it extra difficult to turn them to the locking position to hold the bulb in place on the back of the headlamp area. So, the bottom line is they do work, but just keep in mind, they are very very tight to deal with.
