Great Tool to Have for Running Cable Through Walls
I recently had to run some cable through the walls in my house and honestly wasn’t sure if I would actually need a fish tape kit like this. After using it, I’m really glad I bought it and added it to my tool collection. It made the job much easier and worked exactly as it should. The rods were easy to use, flexible enough for navigating through walls, and felt durable during use. One thing I liked more than expected was the multiple attachments that come with the kit. I ended up using the magnetic attachment quite a bit, and it actually worked really well for helping guide and retrieve cable in tighter spaces. I also liked that it comes with a protective storage case, which helps keep everything organized and protected when not in use. Pros: Worked great for running cable through walls Multiple useful attachments included Magnetic attachment works surprisingly well Easy to use even for DIY projects Durable fiberglass rods Protective carrying/storage case included Great addition to a tool collection Cons: Rod connections can loosen if not tightened well Takes some practice in tighter wall spaces Storage case could be slightly more heavy duty Overall, this was a very useful tool and definitely worth having if you do networking, electrical work, or home projects involving cable runs. Highly recommend.

Easy to use, clear video instructions, and good value
This worked really well for threading our cables behind the wall. There are videos in the item description, and we found them helpful as we made our first attempts at threading the cords. We now have a clean appearance, cords tucked behind the wall, going into a plate we bought and also exiting and plugged in at the bottom plate. This tool was essential to our success. Easy to use, clear video instructions, and very durable. We will be able to use when we hang the next TV. Good value compared to other similar products.

Minor quality control issue.
This tool worked as intended. Only a minor issue. One of the threaded ends hadn’t been attached fully to the fiberglass rod and pulled off. I was able to reattach it with epoxy but I will only use it as the last rod if needed. Don’t want that end to detach in the middle of a pull. It will still work in a 22’ pull as long as none of the other ends detach. They were all inspected and appear to be fully attached. I had wondered why one rod was longer by a quarter inch.

A must have for exterior/insulated wall cable pulls.
Needed to fish a Cat8 wire down an exterior wall. My fiberglass fish-tape was not able to push down. Electrician friend said I had to use rods and this set did the job beautifully. They had just enough bend to curve along the roof line at the top wall plate, but were firm enough to push straight down and through any insulation edges they might have gotten caught on. My only gripe is the container they are stored in. It's too tight a fit with all the loose rod ends that come with the kit (I didn't use any). When you're in tight confines in an attic and trying to pack up, it's not very user friendly. Wish they would make the tube a little bigger and/or store the rod ends in a box that you can velcro to the outside of the tube....

Fantastic! ❤️
Fantastic and incredibly strong. ❤️ The variety of tools and attachments are exceptional. I highly recommend this fiberglass wire puller. Don’t let any negative review change your mind from ordering.

Sticky?
The rods seem to be what I was expecting. Inexpensive hardware that functions adequately. However, the rods (all of them) have adhesive residue on them. Enough to where they only come out of the tube all together. If I pick up one rod, I get 4. Maybe they were once wrapped in cheap packing tape? They must be cleaned before using, especially near insulation. Edit: Upon further inspection, I think these were probably used and returned. There is some damage to a couple rods. Shame on someone. Added a star for the product. This behavior is not the manufacturer's fault but still hurts the end user. Update: I did not try to contact the seller but they reached out to me and offered to resolve the issue. As the product is fine and the customer service is outstanding, I have revised my rating again. Amazon however, needs to work on their returned item inspection. They've burned me 3 times now.

Everything is good EXCEPT for a defective part
This is my first time using a fiberglass rod for pulling/pushing wires. It seems reasonably complete with useful accessories and nicely sized rods you can screw together with brass fittings. I got the medium size (19'?) and it was plenty for the job I was doing, in fact I used 3 or 4 on one side, 3 on the other and we met in the middle using the magnet on one side and the wire ring on the other. I was able to use the rods and magnet and swivel ring exactly as intended. UNFORTUNATELY when I tried to use the wire loop puller to bring the cable through the wall, I discovered the part of the "brass pusher" (long rounded hole) intended for looping the thin wire into has a cable that was not cut correctly. There's no room to fit the fine wire into the hole. I could probably repair the "pusher" if I can clamp it and cut the excess wire out with a drill or maybe a tiny knife. I'm trying to decide if I should just return it or risk cutting myself trying to fix the poorly made part. Oh I ended up finishing the job by taping the wire to the round loop ring and pulling it through the hole. Lower tech but reliable!

Worked like a charm going from crawl space to attic
Worked perfect for fishing our Cat6a cable about 9’ up a wall between our crawl space and attic. The rods were flexible enough to get through the imperfect holes we drilled, but rigid enough to carry the wire up through the insulation. One note, we ended up having to just duct tape the cable to the rod rather than using the “keychain-like” ring (don’t know the technical name for that) attachment that clamps down on the cable. Turns out, the “keychain-like” ring was too big for our 5/8” hole. That’s a fairly substantial sized hole…actually way bigger than needed for Cat 6a cable. That part of this tool is just too big to fit through any imperfections along the path through the sills and headers. Bottomline though, the rod still worked great…we just had to tape the cable to the rod rather than use the nice attachment that comes with the kit.

Awesome
This thing is awesome. Tried other variants of cable pullers and this one was by far the best and easiest to use. Where the others failed, this one made it through far enough so I could tie the cable to it and pull it through. Context: Roof cavity and needing to pull cables through to the outside at the edge of a low pitch truss roof.

So far so good
Haven’t used them a ton but have worked really well for the times that I have. Would be nice if they used just a little bit bigger tube to store them in though. It’s a little tough getting everything back in.

Good delivery duration & product as advertised
Happy with product delivery duration & product itself appears to be of good quality & as advertised, however have not yet had the opportunity to use the product for the tasks it was designed for

Nice Kit
This kit has been very useful for running cables for several projects. The parts fit nicely together and slid through the walls with little issue. The storage container is tight so it's hard to fit everything back into the container once you are done. The other issue is the flexibility of the sections. If they are bent to about 90 degrees they do not go back to their original straight orientation. They remain slightly bowed, which in time may become an issue. Otherwise I would have given the product a 5 star.
