the best butane torch i've gotten for a Hamilton. It's fuel adjustment lever actually can cover the range of fully cut-off, up to its max output, which is a pretty serious flame with big BTUs.Only real critique is the fuel tank isn't super huge, but then again, when you consider how much butane it is dumping out when you use it: i'm totally cool refilling it more frequently than logic tells me i should be.The thumb-slide-up ignition was a first for me,i can see why it would be considered ergonomic and/or intuitive by some... it's not my favorite ignition style but it's far from my least favorite.it's a solid five out of five by me.

Had to disassemble and add a missing o-ring, lost about $6 in butane trying to fill, finally got it up to about 80% filled, the flow control is ridiculously coarse, even without touching it, it surges wildly between zero flow and literally a 8" super-rich yellow flame.If I had this in hand before I bought it, I wouldn't have paid $2. Absolutely terrible. I'm not sure if I'm more irritated about losing several fluid oz of bernzomatic fuel.Also, the tank cyl is undyed nylon with a polymer sleeve (the knurled section), like all of the bottom tier lighters. I have several torches that cost less than this, made of better material and design. The only part that's aluminum is the anodized sleeve around the ceramic isolator.I should send it back, but now I've got this huge cylinder filled with butane.Do not purchase this item.

Easy to light and use. Only issue that I have, there is no lock on it.
