Great performing audio system. I really like that I can easily connect my phone so I can listen to my favorite playlist. It has great sound quality, crisp and clear. The built-in CD player is a big bonus for me as I have a huge CD collection from the 90s that I still enjoy. It plays them flawlessly, no pauses. The FM radio feature is another great addition. With a strong reception and easy tuning, I can listen to my favorite radio stations without any interference. The remote control is super convenient - I can adjust the volume and change tracks from a distance. The sleek black allows me to proudly display it. It is the perfect size as it fits right on our shelving unit.

This unit will play DVD's as well as CD's. On the CD side it doesn't have a loop / shuffle mode which is disappointing for me. My previous unit was a similar sized Sony unit which the CD player failed. Sony no longer makes a similar sized bookshelf unit so I bought the Pyle. The Pyle sounds good and the FM tuner sounds better then the Sony with the same indoor FM wire antenna. I am using Realistic Minimus 7 speakers. The Pyle sounds better then the Sony which also used the Realistic Minimus 7 speakers. The volume stepping on the Pyle is more precise via the remote. The Sony had a DSGX sound equalization feature. The Pyle has bass / treble adjustment. I'm still experimenting with the bass / treble to achieve something similar to DSGX equalization. So far the Pyle is satisfactory but mystified as to why it has no CD Loop / shuffle mode and options....downgraded to one star. I have used it for a few weeks now. It has problems playing CD-R and CDR-W disks. Skips and suddenly stops playing. I have to cycle the power switch on the back to return normal operation.

It's very convenient to use now. But I don't know if I can play songs repeatedly by pressing the function button on the screen without using the remote control?

Not to bad, with the amplifier, however, the remote control makes you do too much work to skip a song or go back or repeat also older songs like the Beatles voices don't sound the same and that's not good for me since I sing along which I sound amazing or so everyone says!!!

I liked it, had good sound. But when i opened the box after delivered my remote was cracked and did not work. Unfortunately, I was not able to get the same one replaced. So I return the whole stereo system and asked for a refund so I can purchase another stereo, with a working remote, which i need.

Received in late March and put into use late May or 2025. In 2 months of light use ( may have been on 40 hours total) the remote quit responding. Changed out to several pairs of new batteries, nothing. Called Pyle for warranty assistance/product support as without the remote, certain functions do not work and the ones that will are not very convenient due to the not very friendly user controls. Pyle customer support told me "We currently do not have any more remotes for that product, and you can keep calling in to see if we do" I asked about other remotes for other pyle products that might work but that got ignored. She then told me " Well, you can go out and try buying other generic remote to see if that works" That was when I was hoping Amazon would refund me the money and very glad they did. If you buy this product, better hope the remote lasts!! Was VERY disappointed with Pyle over making a product that really needs this remote, then after 2 months of use offers nothing at all for support! One star dot that.

Looks good, with good sound. Just the right size for my space. It's a good value, for the price. I unfortunately, am having some trouble navigating the different modes and/or applications. It's very complicated for me, but I am an older person. A younger person would probably be able to do this with ease.

Please take my word for it, this item is worth maybe $30, definitely not $130. Save your money and get something else. Bad sound quality and bad design of the ‘controls’ and functions. I’d give it a zero, or maybe a half-star (because it isn’t broken), but we all know that’s not allowed. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
