Cicada comprises aaron gilbert (also known as mr natural), alex payne and icelandic vocalist, heidrun bjornsdottir (formerly of gloss and gus gus). Alex & aaron have a wealth of experience in producing, making music, and running labels. Both were born out of the electronic scene, but with an equal dislike of musical boundaries - hence their cross-genre forays. They have been making an impact for some time and have quickly gained a reputation as one of the finest alternative remixers in the business, taking in depeche mode, new order and mish mash amongst others, and when rock bands need a deft electronic touch it's often to cicada that they turn.
