So easy!
This starter was so easy. I followed the directions and had a healthy, living starter within days and was baking within a week. I made a beautiful loaf of bread and used the discard to bake chocolate chip cookies. Both were delicious. The sourdough cookies were the best I’ve ever tasted. I plan on keeping a couple packets of the starter mix on hand for gifting.

Great starter!
Great starter!! Received quickly and was able to fully use within a week! I haven’t tried traditional sourdough bread yet but I’ve made so many things with it like scones, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and many more! I absolutely recommend this starter! It’s super easy if you follow the included instructions!

No faster than making your own
This is really not a starter. It is flour with possibly something added, but the directions clearly tell you to feed with flour and water and discard half for up to 7 days until it's mature, bubbling and doubling in size consistently before using. Well you can just make your own with that timeline, there's no need for a "starter" that doesn't save you any time whatsoever. I'm on day two and it's not even close to ready to use. I'm not saying it's bad, but what you get and reading their own instructions, you might as well save your $ and make your own, this is not any faster or better.

Fun and gluten free
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have Celiac disease, and can't eat gluten. I was nervous, because I've never done sourdough before. I followed the directions, and only fed and discarded every 12 hours. It was bubbling and ready after 3 days. What a fun and exciting adventure!!! My first sourdough bread is in the oven now. I'm excited to taste it.
