Rapid push and pull with a standard loo brush works better for a solid jam as this product is not stiff enough to go into it. However when the block is both deep in terms of amount whilst not too stiff, then this product works better as goes further in and it’s design is suited to that type of block. So a is useful additional thing to have. Plus it is easier to clean than a standard brush.

Sadly live with a toilet that often gets clogged up (let's not go further into that) and this is a lovely little gadget. Before I got it, I often ended up using a toilet brush with a standard length handle and that usually ends with me plunging my hand into the hideous water. (And spending the next hour scrubbing my hands). This has a good lengthed handle that keeps my hand well away from dirty water. The head has what looks like large a bottle stopper, which you push foreward and backwards in the waste pipe, until it pushes the obstructive through or brasks it up. The only thing I don't like about it is that the head is a little flimsy, not that it is poorly made, but very rubbery, so it can be a little tricky to get enough force to clear the debris.

This item was well worth purchasing.After my toilet being blocked for 4 days (WATER WAS CLEAN!) and using other endless products, I watched some online videos and saw this gadget.Thought I’d try it and boy am I glad I did. My loo was flushing normally again instantly!Firstly, I used a fizzing tablet (I’d already used 3) left it for a while and went in with this unblocking tool. Thrust it in a few times and the water disappeared!Easy to clean for another time, and worth investing in if like me, you have a loo that’s reluctant to flush!Worth investing in in my opinion

Absolute rubbish

There is a small card included with the plunger (can’t find it now or I’d include a picture of it!) that says “Suitable for use with these types of toilet. (picture of toilet) Not suitable for these. (another picture of a toilet)”. Unfortunately, the picture of a “not suitable” toilet is the one we’re having issues with. Also, as the card is very small it had been missed when the plunger was unpacked and tried unsuccessfully. It therefore wasn’t before I looked for instructions to see if there was any particular special trick to using it that I found this card and as it’s now been used, it can’t be returned any more. This information should really be included with the other product images as otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered ordering it. I’m sure it works well for toilets that is is compatible with (hence 3 stars not 1 star) but useless for us.

Did the job very well, easy to clean. I did find after considerable use cracks did appear where the head was being bent a lot. I also believe it was because I was standing it in a corner on its tip further causing it to bend. I ordered another and this time I hang it on a suction hook on the wall. Plus I will ensure I rotate between uses to ensure bending not always same way.All now seems good.

Our toilet became blocked but it was somewhere round the bend and I was unable to reach. I tried a plunger and various other tactics found on google but nothing worked. I came across this and thought I may as well give it a try before calling a plumber. So glad I did, as after a few thrusts of this in the toilet it all became clear. We now have a functional toilet again. I recommend.
