Great product, really works, looks great

A bit fiddly to assemble - make sure you do it on a carpeted area to minimise the chance of a piece falling out and smashing. The aluminum joiners are quite narrow and get a grip on the glass via small silicon-tipped grub screws which need to be gradually and sequentially tightened until all the panels are together and have equal spacing between them - this took some time. In the process of pushing the joiners into place the very small silicon pads can come out and I'm guessing the glass would break if the grub screw was tightened too much. Once assembled the guard was still a bit 'sloppy' (ie not rigid) and needed to be carefully lifted and placed around the firepit. It's not too heavy so this was a one person task. In place it works and looks fine. Overall the a good but not great product - good value compared to others.

The pieces keep coming apart, and they are a bear to get them all fastened at once only to have them come out again. The company needs to find a way to give the screws better grip to the glass. Once you get it together and on your fire pit, I suggest you don’t move it. It is a nice thick, good looking piece of glass.

They're quite heavy and solid. I have no doubt they'll work as intended, but I used this as part of coffee table.
