Amazing
Amazing book! Especially if you have been following the series of Roy Grace books. Explains why his wife left etc.

Brilliant
Great story very easy to carry on reading. But my wife wanted to sleep at night, so it took a few evenings to read. I liked the beginning up until the end, because if the book had been written as the Roy Grace books where written, Sandy was found in a car pulled out of a lake in Germany and I thought it would have carried that line. But she had to die in the end any how

A fantastic side story
Really enjoyed this !!After reading all of the Roy Grace novels avidly, there's always the common theme of the disappearance of Sandy Grace. This tells the story from her side - as with all Peter James novels, supremely written and engaging.Relatively short chapters that always leave you wanting to "read just one more chapter"If you need a "Roy Grace Fix" before then next installment - then I recommend you read this.Very very enjoyable

Peter James never disappoints!
The back story to Sandy’s disappearance was always going to be a good one!How sad that Roy suffered so badly for years while Sandy, mentally ill Sandy, was so self-indulgent.To manage to stay alive for eleven years having been in the sights of some truly evil individuals was no mean feat. The lady craved excitement instead of boredom, but what she got was anything but exciting, it was tortuous.
